NFL Bans Cheerleaders From Flaunting It in Front of Visiting Players Posted Sep 23rd 2007 12:19 PM by Michael David Smith Filed under: NFL Gossip, NFL Rumors, Featured Stories, The Word http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007...front-of-visiting-pla/?ncid=NWS00010000000001 CBS NFL analyst Charlie Casserly reported on today's pregame show that the NFL sent a memo to all 32 teams last week informing them that home teams are not permitted to tell their cheerleaders to warm up, stretch, or otherwise do anything in front of the visiting team's bench that might distract the players before the game. Apparently there were concerns around the league that some teams had specifically told their cheerleading units to warm up prior to the game right in front of the visiting team, in hopes that the visiting team's players would be too distracted checking out the cheerleaders to pay attention to their coaches' pregame instructions. No word on whether it's legal to videotape the opposing team's cheerleaders.
Just proves my point that if you throw a few cute, half naked, dancing young women in front of a crowd of men, we women totally own your behinds. All the blood leaves your brains. You are under our power, we can make you forget everything the coach said. :rofl2:
If you're going to claim to be a cute half naked dancing young woman we're going to require some proof, young lady!
This is just utter silliness. There has to be better things for the league office to be doing to better this game of football. Where is the wrath of the football gods to smite down the commissioner??? I expect Easterbrook to be all over this story...
I imagine this line came into existence when either the WFL or USFL was in existence. Now the line is obsolete, unless someone can tell me which pro football league is the fun league.
