You people are a total embarassment to Jets fans.

WTF is wrong with you people? You leave your tailgate and enter the stadium 10 minutes after kickoff, then you sit on your damn hands for 3.5 quarters. Just when the game gets to a point where the D needs you, you're already trying to race to the GW Bridge.

6:00 left on the clock this afternoon, and I see enough orange in the stands for it to look like it was a home game for Miami. It sounded like it too.

You make me sick. All game it's like a frigging library in the Meadowlands. If you don't feel like cheering, even when your team is F***ING WINNING, then how about you just give up your tickets, and let some of the next 10,000 people show whether they deserve them.

It wasn't bad enough when you showed zero class cheering for Chad's injury, now you don't even get excited when he RUSHES FOR A TOUCHDOWN.

You're a bunch of miserable schmucks, and I really wish you'd just stop going to the games. It's sad I can make more noise in my living room than you can at the game.

It's even more sad that I could hear Trent Green's voice the ENTIRE DAY.

    You're a waste.

    [/rant]

(And my apologies to any of the people I actually could hear cheering all game long, but you were INCREDIBLY few and far between.)

I agree, the crowd was pathetic. Division game, must win, and we offered no support to the defense.

    This is a problem.

It's almost as if the fans are relying on Fireman Ed to lead them. Someone needs to fill in for him.

At times when the team could use some support from the fans, they didn't get much of it. I heard some cheers, but not nearly the amount you heard last season.

This is what happens when a good portion of the season ticket holders are awful Giants fans who couldn't get tix for their team....

Not enough noise and too many empty seats at the end of the game.

If you're in such a rush to get home, then stay home and give up your seats.

    Alio -

Nice work....I was gonna comment on this. We have NO homefield advantage whatsoever. I remember how empty the stadium was last year when the Jets clinched a playoff berth. All heard was "It's New Years Eve....waaah....waaah....waaah". What's the f*cking excuse today? To put a point on this, DirecTV switched to Packers/Chargers right after the game....it was a zoo. That is what a football crowd is supposed to be. Our crowd is more like the Metropolitam Opera on a weeknight. Completely pathetic performance. What's worse, Dan Deirdork was ripping on the crowd. WTF....let's wake up people!

I'm coming up for the Steelers game in November. What's going to be sad is that: A) The place will be full of Steelers fans and B) they'll drown Jets fans out. Trust me on this. A couple of years ago a friend and I came up for a preseason game and we were actually yelled at by so-called Jets fans for cheering too loudly.

Seriously--if you don't care, there's plenty of other people who do so let us have your seats so we can properly root for our team!

When you are a punching bag for Dan Dierdorf for the the entire game, you know you're pathetic.

Yes, people who attended the game, Dierdorf was making fun of ALL of you.

A good portion of the Jets ticket holders are corporate. They give tix away to their clients. Who knows they might be Giants or Steeler fans or might not even know football. There are still a lot of REAL Jets fans there but when half is corporate freebies it dilutes the cheers.

The people you all are yelling at don't spend any time on this or any other Jets site. Other than patting ourselves on the back and talking about how much better we are then them, there really isn't any point to this thread.

That's spot on. People who don't cheer at games, show up late and leave early aren't going to spend an inordinate amount of time talking or reading about the Jets on the internet. That is proactive, and the people who Alio is yelling at are inactive.

I've been saying that forever.... those people are assholes. I have Charger season tix and whenever I go to a game (unless they are playing the Jets) I cheer for them like they were the Jets. I don't understand, why pay all that money, spend all that time in the traffic, dealing with parking, spending money on gas, food, parking, bridges, tolls etc.... to sit on your ass and not cheer for the team you have season tix for. If you think traffic around the Meadowlands is bad try driving 5 hours to San Diego and then dealing with the traffic getting out of the stadium.

I promise you what I deal with to go to Charger games is 10x worse than what these assholes deal with!!!

I laughed my ass off watching the game. The crowd is a pathetic bunch of fucking sheep and not one fan has balls big enough to be a "REAL" fan. LOL All these so-called, or should I say, "self-called REAL fans" and not one can get the Jets chant going. LOL Shame on you people.

No, I wasn`t at the game today. I was with my family down the beach this weekend, and I made it home in time for kickoff. I sold my tickets to this game as well as a few other games. Been there, done it for 20+ years. Either there are a bunch of old pricks in the stands like they have/had at Giants games, or the younger/newer fans are simply pathetic.

This is why I have taken a hiatus from going to Jets games the past 3 seasons. The fans have become lame and only make noise when Fireman Edward tells them to. You`re a sorryass bunch of sheep. I don`t go because I don`t want to rile myself up because without a doubt, the Jets have some of the lamest fans in the NFL. Traffic is a big part of it no doubt. The stadium sucks Big Blue Balls too.

I give the opportunity to other Jets fans who REALLY want to be there by auctioning off my tickets to the highest bidder. Sometimes it`s good for me, sometimes it`s not. At least I give other fans a chance to go and I don`t have to put up with all the bullshit involved in tailgating, the Jets losing ways and traffic.

Alio you are so right. sitting here in miami watching the game it seemed that shit was empty at the start of the 4th. like everyone thought oh this game is done i got my win i can go home. BULLSHIT. Stay till the end even in a loss you pussies. I wish i could get my hands on season tix. i would fly to NY every weekend. What a privilage at its disgraceful to see so many people who really dont care. traffic is not a reason or an excuse. if you aint gonna stay till the end give your seats up.

OUR DEFENSE SUFFERED TREMEDONSLY BECAUSE THE LACK OF CROWD PARTICIPATION. I HEARD THE CHANT LIKE 2 TIMES. ITS WAS SUPPER QUIET DURING THE 4th AND THEY NEEDED US.

Ownership should fucking move this team to another city. Place is DEAD quiet and is more than half empty most of the game. It's pathetic. If fans don't want to support the team why should the players have to pay the price of never having an advantage.

I was at the Jets game in Baltimore last week and I've been to plenty of Jets games in NJ and it's like polar opposites. The noise in Baltimore is deafening and every seat is filled.

It's embarassing as Jets fans for this team. 1st the Chad thing, and now this.
