What the hell is Willie supposed to do about his player being a complete moron? There were three coaches trying to hold him back, and then he came out a second time from the dugout. That is COMPLETELY his fault, just as it is when Lo Duca pulls that crap.

I agree completely about Anderson, and if I recall correctly I was one of the people who said it then.

This, to me, was not Milledge being "fired up," or anything like it, it was him being an asshole.

 

I missed what happened with Milledge. Someone fill me in?

 

Milledge got hosed on a call earlier in the game and it ended up costing the mets a run as well. He almost got tossed there and Willie didn't defend him at all.

 

he was arguing about a strike call, had to be restrained by three guys, then finally was escorted back to dugout. Then he came flying out of the dugout and charged the ump again.

He pulled an Exit 117, in other words.
