So how bad it is we didn't go after Randy Moss?

I really wanted to get Moss but most of you said it would have been a mistake.

Randy wasn't even given a call...

Pennington and Farve must be feeling a little hot knowing how good he's doing up in New England.

But at least Brett has two wins....

But WR is not our problem. So who cares.

It wouldn't have made a difference. Just like Santana Moss, what good is having a Wr that can fly if you can't get him the ball in a timely manner???

We should have given the packers a 4th rounder just to keep him away from the pats

I don't think he would have shone so brightly so early in NY, but we certainly should've made a go.

Randy Moss went after New England not vice-versa. If he'd gone after the Jets and we'd whiffed you could call a foul, although it's not clear to me who sits if he gets here. We've obviously got better receivers than Stallworth and Welker as our starters.

Everyone ripped me when I said Moss is still good, and now I can say I told you so. Man it was obvious as hell, you don't just go from one of the most talented WRs of all time to crap overnight.

And if our QB can't play with HoF caliber WRs, we need a new QB. Do you really think Moss would have dropped those 2 TDs? Clemens definitely can air the ball out, what an advantage Moss would be!

Whatever though, nothing we can do now.

  12. A few things...

    1. WR was not and is not an issue w/ this team...we got even better when we added Stuckey(He just needs to get healthy)

    2. Moss has only played 2 games w/ the Pats. He has had a history of lingering injuries as well as character issues. Let the season playout alittle more.

    3. Bringing Moss in is more of a "final piece of the puzzle" type move. As of right now, w/ our Lines and defensive woes...we are now where nea that point.

I can't help but think that Randy Moss would not have dropped TWO TD catches on that failed comeback drive...so at the very least..you guys would be 1-1 right now..and subtract what he brings to New England....maybe 2-0

yeah we should have definately gone after Moss....only because we could have gotten him for a 4th rounder...i know cotchery and coles are quality receivers, but add moss in there, 3 receiver sets all day and think about thomas jones??? they would only be able to put 6 maybe 7 guys in the box and we could be effective on the ground

i knew BB and Kraft would pull something off like that, assholes

Oh, please. Randy Moss is a fit in NE because "there's no effort required." It gives him reason to show up for selfish reasons, which is why it will work all season long. It's a pre-fabricated situation. Hah, as if he wouldn't pull a former Plaxico times ten if he was on the Jets. Better yet, a personal Randy Moss heavy on his usual Zzzzz. I don't care what his connection to Chad was. You're dreaming.

You can stop at 1. If we had Randy we wouldn't still have Justin and I'm sure Randy would have caught one of those passes if not both this last game.

We are paying Justin a garranteed $2.4 million this year and he sucks, yet we couldn't give up a 4th round pick for Randy?

Good posts so far sandman, kurt, and phile...woulda been nice but not necessary. It really only hurts to people so obsessed with what the pats are doing that they ignore their own team.

And about Stuckey(i fear the parenthesis may never leave; there is a reason we were able to get such an obvious talent in the SEVENTH round)

Tough words from a moron. Especially since it's "you're". I'm thinking that wasn't a miskey.
