This thread has been here before, haha. I agree, he is an over the hill, over the top, loud mouth freak. He is the type of guy that feels if he says something with conviction and authority that people will take it for fact. Just laugh at him as he goes on his tirades, it makes it easier to watch NFL Live. I like Golic anyways.

Hate John Salisbury? Hell no. That dude is one hell of a Technical Systems Assistant!

    Plus, he's so harmless looking:

Sean Salisbury, however, is a giant dirtbag. I don't think I've ever heard an insightful thing come out of his mouth, and now he's crossing mediums. Had to take my nephew to see that movie The Benchwarmers. Sean had a cameo. I didn't think it was possible to make that movie any more terrible, but he did it somehow.

The best is when Shitsbury stares intently and intensely at the camera and gives his PASSIONATE PREDICTION! He looks like a baby trying to squeeze out a rock-hard turd. Have another eclair, Sean, nobody can see that third chin.

I said in once about Eli, but I think it applies to Sean Salisbury as well . . .

Sean Salisbury is The Lord of The Dufuses and The Emperor of his own Anus.

I remember that and it was great. Now I don't know what kind of guy Clayton is, but it is obvious SS hates him. It is really uncomfortable to watch and makes me wonder why espn hasn't sepsrated these two. SS venom for Clayton is as plain as day and makes him look like more of an ass. I just don't get it, everyone at espn. I still don't get it. Maybe SS will induct creapy Clayton into the Hall of Fame(journalist)

Here's what I don't get: Harold Reynolds was actually good on Baseball Tonight, but ESPN fires him for alleged sexual harassment. Sean Salisbury is horrid, and he gets a mere suspension for taking photos of his own junk and passing it around to secretaries at ESPN.

    Craaaaaazy world.

Harold Reynolds was too straight forward for ESPN... they were clearly looking to make that show into the circus it is now(Kruk)... shame cuz it didn't get better than him and Gammonds

jim nantz and phil simms are by far the best commentating duo, inmo...also i think mark schlereth and ron jawarski are quality, merril hodge has his moments but for the most part he is a 40 yr old frat boy, michael smith is good, skip bayless is a queer who argues just to argue, however my favorite poerson on espn is mike greenberg, this guys is great, especially with golic, whoever put them 2 together is a genius, imho

I agree Bayless is just out of control.. He just argues just to hear himself talk.. I don't think I have ever seen him agree with one of his guest on the show..

No such thing as an "objective" sports writer. they get into the field because they are fans of the sport, and you can't be a fan without some bias. Some are worse than others, but non are objective.

So I just watched yesterday's NFL Live and Salisbury gave his expert opinion on how the Jets can turn things around this season:

"They need more playmakers. Gotta have guys who can get things done. Thomas Jones has started off slow, Chad Pennington's been injured and Justin McCareins is droppin' too many footballs. They gotta find a way to get guys that are WINNARS! They gotta find a way to get guys who can FINISH is the problem! Thomas Jones will be better. They gotta have better receivers on the perimeter to compliment that football team!"

Thank you, Salisturd, now I see why they pay you the big bucks. I mean, a 12 year old NFL fan that only watched the ESPN highlights couldn't have said everything you just did. What a buffoon.

    Two quick questions:

Who is Sean Salisbury and more importantly:

Why do I need to hate him?

    *****Disclaimor*****

Before anyone replies to my post, please turn on your sarcasm detector

Come on man that is a helluve a lot insiteful. I mean I had a real difficult time understanding why McCareins needed to catch a ball fro the Jets to win. I just had to rewatch the game 3 times to see how valuable this insite really was. Of course the first two times, the fact I was throwing up might have made me miss this.

Why do you think Theisman isn't on TV anymore!???

Because all he ever did was generalize. He knew NOTHING about the Teams playing and it was obvious, He just showed up cause he was Theisman and sounded dumb.

Same goes here. He thinks cause he delivers his points with fervor that he will sound intelligent, well guess what buttons, we see through your BS and realize you know nothing of our team...
