OK we lost a game where , lets be honest not many here thought we would win. Well most of us were right. Time to move on.

Although we lost the game, (frustratingly) at the end of the game instead of feeling mightily upset and depressed I actually had a sense of achievement. That Ravens game game has completely changed the way I now feel about Clemens. From the Qtrs 1-3 we saw him trying , sometimes too hard and sometimes not hard enough , by the end of the 4th we saw a confident QB growing into his new role.

Please take this the right way , I hope that Chad sits out against the Phins , just to let KC tuck another game under his belt. I believe that with either QB we will beat the Phins , but hope that KC gets the nod.
To top that , the Oline didn't look like lost puppies either at the end which makes a nice change.

I think we have three winnable games in front of us and we’re likely to see Chad start them (as much as I would like to see KC). I’d say that performance in these three games will determine who starts game six.

I was pretty miserable seen what the Pats did to us last week – but watching them make the super Chargers look even stupider helped!

    Go Jets!

Not me. Watching the Jets/Baltimore 4th quarter made me feel better about this season, but watching the Pats destroy the Chargers just made me nauseous. It could be the worst overall NFL season in history. Can you imagine if the Pats and the Dolphins are the only two teams in history to go undefeated?

LOL, how foolish of me. We should just make it a part of their name from now on... put it in place of the O. New England Patri*ts.

Seriously though, I don't see NE going Perfect this year

    You have:

    @ Colts Week 9
    @ Ravens Week 13
    @ Steelers Week 14
Dolphins Week 16. We always split with the Pats no matter how bad we are, and we've defended the 17-0 on multiple occasions. Then if they somehow get through this stretch they still have to play SD,IND,BAL in the playoffs and whoever wins the NFC. Not happening!

What doom and gloom, I haven't been this excited about the team since we had an opportunity to draft Marino. It looks like we might have a great young QB to build a real contender with for the first time since 65.

Chad will be back next week if healthy and will do a much better job at helping us win. As long as the rest of the team shows up it wont look like the Patriots game did.

I'm with you on this. I even told my girl that they'd find a way to blow it after they got to the 8. She told me to have some faith, then the ball got picked off. She asked me how I knew it would happen and I told her it was because I'm a Jets fan. I gave her a half hearted laugh and didn't go into the reasons why I wasn't throwing stuff at the tv. We lost, but there was a glimmer of hope in this game.

Clemens played well in the 4th, which was around the same time the O-line showed up for the game. He gave me the feeling that every time he dropped back he was going to pick up a nice chunk of yardage, and it seemed like he did. It was a feeling I haven't felt since watching Vinny T. It was nice...but it's back to dink and dunk this week.

Look, if clemens starts, (which i feel if chad is healthy he should start), he needs to read the defense quikcer and get rid of the ball quicker. if he can mimic that 4th quarter from yesterday throughout the Miami game then ill be a believer.

but im not sold yet on a guy who had 1 big drive late in a game against a prob tired defense. And the ravens did just enough to keep the jets out of the endzone.

They do still have some good teams out there to play, but they are awfully strong this year. Not just on offense, but on defense as well. They certainly have what they need to make a strong push this year. It would make my year to see the Pats win every game until the Dolphins - and lose. It kills me every time someone threatens the record and the Fins take em out.
