That being said, I'd be shocked if Chad starts. It's just not worth the risk IMHO but what do I know? I'll trust whatever Mangini and Schott think is best.

It would be very surprising if Chad starts on Sunday, he was limping pretty badly out of the stadium from what i have heard, Mangini is just keeping the possibility open so the Ravens cant concentrate there whole pre game preperations on Clemens

I’m not an NFL Coach or a doctor but an 8 year old could tell you that there will be a lot of crumpled pile with the non mobile (injured) quarter back at the bottom of it. I haven’t see any news during the week in the NFL Column of my local new paper ; lets hope this is strategy to not tip our hand and allow Baltimore to prepare for kellen!

If Mangini starts CP, he is looking for a reason to commit to KC for the rest of the year, because CP will not make it out of the Ravens game. They need to get a look at KC in a real game situation not playing against players destined to be cut. KC gets the logical nod here.

I didnt get a chance to watch the Jets v Pats game, but i heard that when Pennington got injured some sections of the Jets fans were cheering?? What the hell was that about? especially after his numbers would suggest he was having a good game

I would not be surprised if Clemens starts and if he starts tanking, he puts Chad in if they think they can still win it. It would not hurt to rest Chad this week to make sure he recovers, but at the same time I can see them putting him in the lineup at the last moment. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm not sure what will happen, it could go either way.

You'd think if he was able to practice on Friday he'd play. Then again, we don't know how limited he was in practice. They could just be trying to confuse the Ravens, then again, those leaks that Clemens was going to start could have been the same thing.

    I trust whatever they decide.

I'm sure Billick is preparing for both of them.

I have to agree with this. There is no surer way to start the Kellen Clemens era than sending Chad out against that Raven's defense with his current lack of mobility and the Jets weak offensive line.

Mangini is just trying to make the Ravens think, Chad will not start.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Chad starts. If he started games with a torn rotator cuff, I doubt a sprained ankle is going to stop him.

I think you guys may be looking into something that isn't there. Mangini thinks Pennington gives him his best chance to win now, that is the only reason Mangini will play him. Pennington was never mobile, that is not an issue. If he can drop back and plant and throw he will play.

If he does play him in this situation Chad's job is more secure than some of you will hope.

I'd like to see how Kellen would do in a REAL game.
