Season ticket holder here. I think we are back, and I can't freakin wait for next week's game against Ohio St.
Should be a great measuring stick for both clubs. The Bucks have lost each of the last two times they were out west. I'm looking forward to the game also.
You know, YanksFan, I think I'm enjoying this year of the Buckeyes as much as last year. Last year's team had such high expectations, only to get thumped against Florida. With a squad such as this years, the season is almost more fun than last year's, because the expectations aren't as high, and I enjoy seeing the young guys step up. That's why I'm looking forward to this game, as well as seeing the Huskies back on the upswing. (My brother lives in Seattle also, and because he's a Purdue grad, I have a feeling I know who he'll be rooting for, and it won't be the Bucks.)
Chill out man...go take a nap or something. The game will come soon enough. I'm hoping to see an upset. Jake Locker is one player that I will follow for his entire college career. He's a beast.
Just got home from the game:sad: Honestly we should have had them, we had 5 straight trips inside the 30 in the first half where we didn't score, as well as losing the turnover battle 4-0. Also, up 7-3 we had the ball early in the third quarter on Ohio St.'s 19 and didn't score:sad: Jake Locker looked brilliant on some plays and clueless on some turnovers. However, congrats to Ohio St. and we'll get UCLA next week!
Locker looked like a freshman with exceptional athletic talent. As soon as he can get experience and settle down some, he'll be just what the program needs. Good game. Rather proud of the Bucks, as I saw them last week in the 'Shoe, and the offense just looked flat awful. Tressel is a very good teacher and the improvement was noticable. The Huskies' schedule looks pretty tough. I would love to see you guys beat up on the rest of the Pac-10, especially the schools from California.
So would I man, so would I:beer: If we can beat UCLA next week we will be 3-1, and what should be an awesome game against USC after that
You never know, last year Washington got it to the USC 5 with 3 seconds to go but a clock mistake but the USC timekeeper made a mistake and ran out the clock to spare USC. Also the Huskies dropped what would have been a game clinching interception earlier.... so they easily could have won AT USC last year:grin:
