26 -- New York Jets (0-1) This might be too harsh if that spy stuff really gave the Patriots a complete read on their defenses. You think the Belichick-Mangini feud was hot last year? Wait. The best is yet to come. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/dr_z/09/12/power.ranks.part3/index.html what a tool...
Tennesse is number 4. 'nuff said. Dr. Z lost his credibility years ago with anyone who has ever followed his predictions. the guy couldn't predict a two numbered lottery if given three chances.
Do the Jets really deserve anything better? They got crushed by the Patriots and their starting QB is injured. Their defense is weak.
Dr.Z is a tool if he thinks the AZ Cards are better I watched that game on monday night and it looked like both teams sucked
I love reading Dr Z. He's funnier than hell. Power ranking mean nothing, but he was the first "ranker" to put the jets above 10 last season when everyone else still had us at like 25.
Actually, I find Dr. Z one of the most knowledgeable football writers out there. Usually very fair and unbiased. The Jets looked horrible last Sunday. Based on that game and that game alone I'd say #26 is about right.
Actually, that wouldn't be any good. It's a new coaching staff. Of course, Norv Turner isn't the most unpredictable guy in the world, so we'll see.
He's right about the Titans being a top 10 team this year. I think #4 is pushing it a bit. I do think they're probably like 6th in the AFC after Indy, San Diego, New England, Pittsburgh and maybe Cincinnati. They might be 5th. This team just beat Jacksonville in Jacksonville with Vince Young having a poor day passing.
And then their master plan to take over Dr. Z of SI.com's weekly power rankings will finally be complete! Mwaahahahahaha!
Exactly. Look no further than the Jets. Twice they lost season openers 31-0 only to make the playoffs the same season.
