Being 1-0 would be nice, but I'm inclined to think that losing a first round draft pick would hurt the Pats more in the long run. Hell even a 3rd and a 5th would be nice, but those are easier to recoup.
You should have allowed for multiple votes in the poll. Anyway, I think the Patsies should have to forfeit the win. And I'm seriously not saying this just because it's the Jets that would benefit. If Goodell lets them have the win even despite their apparent cheating, it sends a message that if you cheat to win, you'll still win...even if it costs you some picks or a suspension. Now think about it, how many of you would trade a 1st round pick or suspend the coach for a season if you knew it would get you a Superbowl win? I'd say that's a good deal. In order to prevent teams from even thinking about cheating, you take away the reason for them to cheat in the first place. Oh, and suspensions would also be in order, just like if you took banned substances. They're both cheating, treat 'em as such.
Suspend Belicheck for the season and force him to apply for reinstatement. Then forfeit their 3 SB titles, give one of them to us for compensation because of this. Then to even things out let every team playing the Pats be allowed to fairly steal signs and show them their own medicine. Alcohol should be banned in razor(Gilette) stadium unless your a fan of the opposing team and the Patriots players should be forced to wear pink tutu's during press conference's. Also we should automatically be given a win against them for the next 3 games(including next year or playoffs) it is unfair to ask our players to play in this after experiencing such sick turmoil.
Whatever their next future SB down the road is should be taken away. Not to mention they lose all their draft picks for the next 2 years, it is unfair to ask college players to step into a cheating environment. It takes at least 2 years for that to go away.

First i`ll say that I believe the stinking Pats have more talent then we do on our team and would have won without the video ,that being said ,the next million dollar question is .......What if there was another camera guy video taping our offensive signals (Hey they were low enough to do the defense I wouldn`t put it past them) & the JETS & the NFL just didn`t catch him & what if them getting the offensive signals gave them the advantage they used to get to Chad & cause his injury which may by missing games cause JETS victories & the season should they miss the playoffs by a game or two .Now how do you determine what the penalty should be?
Anyone who says forfeit is crazy. Why would you want a win we don't deserve? I think giving up the first rounder is appropriate. We lost. Case closed. You want to punish the Pats....fine, but that is no reason to reward our sorry-asses. Besides, let's say we get the forfeit and make it into the playoffs by one game. Is that fair to the team that gets knocked out? Do you think our season will be considered legitimate? Give me a break. There is ZERO chance the NFL awards a forfeit....and I don't want it! DbJ
Fold the Patriots franchise, ban Belishit and Kraft, award a new franchise to either NH, VT, ME, RI or CT and give the Jets the win.
I don't know if a forfeit is the right way to go but I sure would like another shot at those cheating bastards. I say play the game over..
