IS RICH CIMINI. Who else agrees with me? I am being totally serious about this. If Rich seriously injured his hand and couldnt write again I would defenitely cheer very loudly. This guy is the scum of the earth.

All Rich does is write negative articles about the Jets. But the reason I would be thrilled if he got hurt is because he emotionally hurts Jets fans with his unfounded stories. First, last year he tells us Chad most likely reinjured his shoulder in the preseason game against Tampa Bay. Turns out Chad is fine.

Then he does it again just this week. Jets fans are hoping for a good season and Chad gets hurt. Most of us agree that for now Chad gives us the best chance to win. He immediately publishes an article with ABSOLUTELY NO FACTS that Chad has a broken ankle. No sources, he did say it was unconfirmed, but he probably made it up because he knows everyone will read that story. All other stories indicate Chad is ok and its a week to week injury.

What Rich does to the emotions of jets fans is heinous. Hurting Jets fans emotionally like this time and time again with injury issues is just as bad as physically injuring us. To play with Jets fans emotions like that is just despicable. I regret the day I was at training camp and he was about 10 feet away and I didnt say or do anything to him.

from the boo's Chad got when he got hurt he should had said Chad will start next week and that would had made Jet fans upset.

The only guy I might cheer to see hurt is Michael Vick, because of the way he inflicted senseless, unnecessary pain on so many dogs. Even then I would probably only want to see it if it were a dog or a pack of dogs inflicting the damage.

Hear hear. Cimini loves to throw nonsensical statements around just to make people read him. If the ankle break is unconfirmed, unfounded and plain incorrect from the start, why the f*** are you putting it into the blogosphere? It's not like he's a respected journalist like Jayson Blair.

You forgot to mention when Cimini took Peter King out of context, suggesting that Bill Belichick would not have Rhodes on his team.

Cimini's life is somewhat akin to the old saying, "those who can't do .... teach." Well, those who can't throw, catch or block ... write.

I think this is a little over the top, truth be told.

So what? He posted some information, and clearly stated that it was rumor, and had no basis in factual evidence.

All the NY writers suck, yet people continue to read them. Papers sell every morning. We have at least 3 (arguably 5) major newspapers in the general area of the Jets. (Times, Post, Daily News, Star Ledger, Newsday.) All of them sell every morning.

You think the news sucks? Stop buying the papers. When they aren't selling, the stories will change. You buy their crap, they'll keep selling it.

As for the "blogosphere" people need to get real already. I can't wait until blogs, MySpace, FaceBook, etc. all go the way of the Commodore 64.

I think Everrett's injury should be a clear sign to everyone that it isnt right to cheer no matter what team youre on.

I wouldn't cheer for anyone to get hurt. It's just bad karma.

Now if someone slipped on a banana peel, that would be a different story....

Everrett's injury really puts things in persepctive, but c'mon, I know all of you would be secretly ecstatic if Brady suffered a career ending injury (so long as it wasn't life threatening). Hell, Id be happy right now if any of the starters on the Pats went down, only seeing the Jets succeed makes me happier then watching the Patsies stumble .

No I wouldn't be ecstatic. The guy kills our team, he's a great player for a hated rival, but I'd never wish for him to get injured.

I want the Jets to win a Super Bowl in the worst way, but beating a Brady-less Pats team or a Manning-less Colts team to get there cheapens it. You become the best by beating the best.

I think you're talking about something completely different. If a guy on a rival team gets injured there's nothing wrong with being happy that he isn't going to be in there against your team. However if you were at or watching the game in which he got injured and you started celebrating that's pretty low.

It depends what kind of car gets wrecked...if hitting him means a Viper got totalled I'd be upset :)

    I'm j/k of course
