I actually like running out the clock at this point.

Brick cost the Jets any hope at points with his shenannigans. Thanks Brick.

    3rd and 17, I know, let's run a draw play!

Is paul hackett still the OC?

What did you want, a pass which would mean the Pats likely get the ball back again?

1st half of the game is over.

    14-7 Patriots.

Not a bad game so far. Jets are making some mistakes on defense, but have held the Patriots offense to only 14. The Jets, on defense, need to pressure Brady more. I'm not saying blitz every down, but mix things up a bit. Miller needs to keep close to Moss at all times.

Perhaps maybe the Jets should have went for it on 4th down at least 1 out of the two times they had the opportunity to.

Whatever, it's only 14-7. Only down by a touchdown with 2 quarters to play still.

14-7 isn't the end of the world. We need some good halftime adjustments though.

So far we are totally screwed unless we can think of something.

    1. Defense sucks all around until the pats get anywhere near our 30.
    2. We can't run the ball at all.
    3. Chad is taking too many sacks, throw the damn ball!

And 2 Hackett calls. Any momentum we had is gone. 21-7 after the opening drive of the 2nd half.

On the plus side, the run D stepped up and Chad doesn't look horrible. Though, when a plus is your franchise QB not looking "horrible", is it really a plus?

Miller and Jones are showing serious rust off their preseason injuries. If we had this game in 2 weeks we might see more out of them.

They better have Revis on Moss next half, or this game will get very ugly.

Brick was a wasted pick. Supposed franchise LT comes into camp the size of a TE, and was simply dreadful in the first half.

Clement is going to be the ultimate death of us, even against inferior teams.

Fingers crossed, but would be happy if its not a blowout.

Seeing Justin Miller lineup to try and cover Randy Moss is painful.

Chad looks good. His QB rating has to be well over 100. If only he had the luxury the Patriots line affords Mr. Brady, Penny could avoid some pressure.
