Guys, I'm looking forward to Sunday's game as much as the next guy. However, if Sunday ends up being a wind and rain storm as a result of hurricane residual than I think this game is a complete toss up. Nothing serves as a better equalizer than bad weather. Look no further than last year's game in Foxboro. Out of nowhere the Jets could run the ball down NE's throats and were in Brady's face all day after not laying a glove on him in game 1. The bad weather (particularily the wind) completely works against NE and their supposed deep play ability.

Good points. I mentioned this in another thread, but I think the familiarity of division rivals playing twice a year also levels things quite a bit. Similar to when Buffalo had those great teams, their toughest games were often in the division, even though our teams weren't nearly as good as they were.

Yeah, wet tire shit. Maybe Moss will skid off the field and hit a guardrail.

I dont care about the weather. You should be able to beat any team, on any field, at any time. That is the way football should be played. In the mud, the dirt, the snow, and rain.

Maybe there is a way we can have a perfectly clear day for the tailgating and then at 1PM EST, the rain comes down for a bit...sorry, I'm selfish when it comes to tailgating at the home games. I want the blue sky, BBQ smell, pigskin flying in the air, music pumping type shit, we usually have.

Absolutely a big help. Inclement weather favors the running game and short passing game, which should help limit the negative effects of a Bender start and allow us to capitalize on the missing Pats defenders.

It also plays a huge role in Moss's effectiveness. I remember some brutal games for him in poor conditions @GB and Chicago, places he generally played well. If he's still hampered, the weather could neutralize him. Of course, it also favors the Pats' running game, and with our run D, that's a scary thought.

Sean, stopitt stopitt! Is this weather nonsense designed to make us feel better about our chances? This is the sort of thing Belli comes out with and then schemes to Knock us down hard. I hope the sun is blazing and we still ram it to them!

I think if you were honest with yourself you would see that the weather was the equalizer in game 2.

You guys were convinced enough to rip out your field in the middle of the season and put a new one in.

One spot per car. No room to throw footballs, handoffs only until 2010.

Haha, we are on the sidewalk, dude...

My condition by 10AM will not allow me to take handoffs.
