Rod Woodson has played in more Pro Bowls than Michael Huff.

And I asked you to show me my prediction that the Raider offense will be better than the Jet offense and you throw some hieroglyphics at me. I don't know what the hell "Yes. 467nb2v2 267" is, sorry. If I said something, cut it and paste it.

As far as you being willing to bet, I know. You bet me on the game last year and I accepted even though my team was 2-13 at the time. I don't feel the need to place a bet on every statement I make, if you do then good luck with that.

And since you love predictions, Michael Huff will go to the Pro Bowl before Chad does.

I probably would agree with that.

I'll also say Huff will go to the Pro Bowl before Culpepper does.

If you ask me a question and it's a one word answer, I answer and then I have to fill some space with random characters.

I don't either, but if people are going to make ridiculous statements and go after me for not agreeing with them, why wouldn't they be willing to bet on it? If you're so sure about what you say...

I guess the answer to that is you're not and you're just blowing smoke.

We're not going to agree here. I don't think it's a ridiculous statement to say Culpepper is a better QB than Chad. You do. I think Culpepper's career has been derailed by an injury. You think he sucks. We'll have to wait and see.

I come here to read other's opinions and share my own, usually in threads about the Raiders. I think I've only started two threads since I've been here, so it's not like I'm here to provoke. But by the same token, I don't feel the need to back up all of my opinions with a wager. No apologies for that.

I've been pretty clear in my posts that I think Culpepper is arguably a better QB than Chad. It's all in black and white. If Chad outplays him this year, which he should since he's on a playoff team, throw it in my face. I'll take my medicine.

So you admitted that I never said the Raiders offense would be better than the Jets this year, that you were confusing me with Joe? Cool.

I'm going to assume that's what I meant when I said "no"

I wonder what happened to jeaux. I don't want to speculate here or anything.

aha, so you're providing a built-in excuse. Apparently now you're saying the Jets are better than the Raiders, so even if Chad outplays Fumblepper, it doesn't mean anything.

I think raiderjoe wants a few words with you.

No He allowed to have his own opinion. Just because he dosen't agree with me, thats okay. Raiderjeaux opinion is Jets were never as good as their record indicated. Honestly I don't think there offense talent is that good, and I believe alot of Nfl people felt the same way.(Reason Shotteheimer was on alot of teams coaching list)

I Think the book out on Shotteheimer/Pennington offense. Jets were very effective moving the ball with the short pass, I think teams take those pass
es away and force Penniongton to beat them in ways he dosen't want.

Again JMO Jets offense dosen't approach anywhere close to last years numbers.

so no one figured out last year that Pennington doesn't throw the deep ball well, but all of a sudden a lightbulb flashes and they all bring guys into the box.

    I don't think so.

EVERYONE in the NFL for the last few seasons has known Pennington doesn't have a very strong arm.

And I'm still waiting on a response to my proposition.

Exactly, Pennington is smart enough not to go long when he knows he has open routes right in front of him...and when they creep up and get greedy, he goes over the top...not often, but judging from his effeciency, its obviously enough...enough to take the would-be cellar dwelling Jets to a 10-6 record...im sure he'll be fine on Sunday

Thats a pretty decent question. Before the draft, Raiders wanted more competition for D Burgess at DE.( HUntley looked promising and Brayton was horrible) Raiders envisioned Q Moses at worst coming in on passing downs his rookie year, and eventually growing into a fulltime player at De. What happened to change that. DT Tom Kelly was moved to RDE (Kelly a beast at De as it very hard to run outside of him) Fifth round draft choice jay richardson was one of the biggest supprises. Guy just kept n making plays and outplayed Q Moses. (Unlike Moses was equal effective against the run as well as the pass . Raiders signed alot of situational passrusher types in FA, Chris Clemens(lb/passrushing specialist) was the best of bunch. Had lightning quick first step, but just was more consistant than Moses in getting pressure. What maybe was a weakness during then draft, wasn't by the time camp was over with.

Lets get the fact straight. Nobody knew what Shotteheimer offense was going to look like. They do now. You think its not coincidence that a couple of Chad Pennington passes have gone the other way this preseason. Teams are looking for those type and ready to jump those routes.(DBs not fearing Pennington abilty to consistantly hurt them deep are just going to play more agressive against your WR)

Also How the jets supprised alot of teams with Leon washington and Brad smith, are not going to work this year. Teams will be waiting for what both players do best.

    that makes NO sense whatsoever.

so at the end of last season, teams still couldn't adjust to this?

Everyone knew the Schottenheimer offense would have a lot of screens, slants, and shorter passes for Pennington. It wasn't some surprise; that teams thought Pennington would throw the deep ball a lot or something.

yea you were a 10-6 team against a very soft schedule. With tougher schedule your lack of talent on both sides of the ball, will be exposed big time. Expect 6- 7 wins top for the Jets.
