Yeah, it was a huge pass play to Manningham. Michigan should have been able to kick the FG. Unreal, as you said. Michigan had field goals blocked on both of their final drives!
Yes, it is tremendous. It's my favorite since 12/25/06. That was the day the Jets beat the Dolphins and the Eagles bitchslapped the Cowboys. Week 16, 2006 was my favorite regular season NFL Week. It was great all-around. On Saturday, 12/23 KC beat OAK 20-9. Raiderjoe made some awful predictions with that one, so that was an added bonus. I loved all the results in the key 12/24 games. Teams I like went on the road to beat teams I don't like. Saints 30, Giants 7 Titans 30, Bills 29 Ravens 31, Steelers 7 Also, the Broncos beat the Bengals 24-23 on a botched XP try in the waning moments. The Patriots beating the Jaguars 24-21 didn't really mean anything, so big deal.
Initially, I did not like Mike Hart. Slowly I came around. I think he's going to be like Curtis Martin. He is of solid character, he doesn't fumble often, and he's not going to be a truly scintillating runner on the NFL level, but he will be highly effective and consistent.
In the Notre Dame vs. GT game, Weis has already pulled his "secret starter" Jones and replaced him with Sharpley - it looks to me like Notre Dame has just given up on passing the ball. I think we may see THE GOLDEN BOY Jimmy Clausen before this games over.
this is going to be a really fun year for the ND haters. 66 net yards in the first half and 13 yards passing.
I don't hate them, but I don't cheer for them either. I just think it's funny that Charlie Weis is supposed to be such a great coach, but when all of TYRONE WILLINGHAM's recruits leave for the NFL, Weis can't do anything. Willingham isn't the best coach around either, but he recruits well. Look out for Washington in the next couple of seasons. Their QB Jake Locker is going to be a beast.
