Endless weekdays and Saturdays of College Football on CBS, ABC, SNY, MSG, ESPN, ESPN2, YES, FSNY, all piled on top of the suckiness that is the Notre Dame Football Hype Machine. I seriously feel the need to not be anywhere near a TV set on Saturdays in the fall. It's just really painful if you're not interested in NCAAF until the 4th quarter of a couple of the 143 Bowl games. To those interested, enjoy the season!
What ND hype machine? I'm a ND fan and I think at best they'll be 8-4. Unless the D is awesome, they're screwed.

I'm watching the PSU/Florida International game now. Mickey Shuler Jr scored a TD for Penn State! JoePa likes this kid, he compares him to his "old man" (quote JoePa). Could we have another great Shuler TE in the making?
App State leads the Ann Arbor Ass Pirates 28-17 at halftime!!! If they hold on this would be one of the biggest upsets in years. Alas, you have to figure Michigan will come back. Dammit.
OMG! Too funny Cakes! PSU is leading 24 -0 at the start of the 3rd. JoePa using 2 TE setup. Something new?
As you can tell, Michigan is my least favorite college football team. I also don't like Miami. I don't know enough about Penn State to be able to answer your query.
It's the first I've ever seen it. Oh and I hate Michigan too, followed by ND, then Ohio State. Penn State 31 - 0. Florida International fumbled the punt, PSU recovered and scored. This is a mis match. hmy:
Appalachian State should have just scored again, but the receiver dropped a pass while wide open in the end zone.
when i first joined the board....no one knew who or where app st. was ...they should have beaten nc state last season hoping my alumni can hold on i've always been a nfl first guy, but i enjoy the I-AA playoffs in comparison the the entire bcs system on another note though...........how slanted does this VT game seem? i wont say more than that bc i will come off as a asshole, but anyone else getting that? and how in the hell is espn 2 still showing michigan st. Alab Birm. game? it is 45-5!....just awful
The Michigan returner bobbled the ball in the end zone on the kickoff. It should have been a touchback, but he had to take it out because he bobbled the ball past the end zone. He made it to the 10-yard line. Michigan's offense took the field and immediately called a TO! I only started watching in the 2nd half, but Michigan looks very sloppy. This is great fun right now.
I was watching the ECU-VT game until I found out the App State-Michigan game was on channel 220. I took ECU and the 27.5 points because I didn't think Virginia Tech could score 27 points let alone cover a 27.5 spread. I was not watching closely enough to notice VT getting calls their way. I like that the Michigan State players have names on the backs of their jerseys again. John L. Smith was an ass.
the calls are nothing too ridiculous...its just ecu isnt good enough or in an environment that they can overcome 5 yards here and there ....lets hope skip holtz takes the high road in the postgame interview as for the app game....it isnt even coming in locally in boone
Well, if you have DIRECTV it is being shown on the Big Ten Network- channel 220. I didn't even know that channel existed until today. Michigan just had another sloppy drive after a missed 46-yard FG by Appalachian State.
Edwards fumbled and Michigan went on to score a TD. Henne bobbled the snap on the 2-point conversion and was stopped short of the goal. That was a big stop by App State. 31-26, end of 3rd quarter.
