well yeah, it happened saturday night

when he was asked if he would apoligize, myers replied that his only mistake was saying "retard" instead of "idiot", and that the reporter should apologize to him.

what a jackass. the reporter was a little smart with him, but it wasn't enough to warrant that at all. plus, any professional doesn't lose his temper and start cursing and threatening people like that.

next time the reporter should refer to him as a save-blowing, wife-beating, piece of crap and see how he responds

There was an article I read on this earlier that ended with something to the effect of "Pat Burrell overreacted when he restrained him. The reporter wasn't Myers' wife, so there was very little chance of the situation ending in violence."

Well, no one ever said that being an elite athlete means that you're not a moron.

Of course, Brett Myers is actually a piece-of-crap ballplayer, so maybe the "elite athlete" part really doesn't apply.

Yeah but unlike his wife I'm sure the guy would have had Myers prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Myers could have been his meal ticket but in a different way.
