    this bullpen kills me. i know they were 3 unearned runs but give me a break. if the mets arent winning by five you just cant feel comfortable with this bullpen. why is mota still on this team??

    maine did make a case for himself to be pulled for the rotation from the postseason. lets see how pedro does because if pedro doesnt cut it as a started id love to see him get the 7th and 8th in the postseason.

    Reyes with his 71st steal. If he gets 11 more this year it will be the most in the NL since 1987 (Vince Coleman with 109).

    He'll get rested in September, I'm sure. Hopefully, the Mets get a 10 game lead over the Phillies and Braves in about 10 days and Pelfrey can be brought up to start losing some games again/give Maine rest.
