Honestly, they are getting embarassed by the Giants tonight. Brick got schooled by Osi on a pure speed rush to the outside. Bender allowed Tuck to walk into the backfield. Chad got hammered from the right side too on one play but I forget who messed up their assignment. Tannenbaum is going to have to make a move for a guard, I don't care if its just a vet that's cut for salary reasons. Clarke and Bender are not going to cut it if the Jets expect anything this season. Pennington is getting hammered. Like others have said, Revis has been excellent. He looks to be a sure tackler and has fantastic instincts. He and Harris are, by far, the best parts of this game.
The Jets offense is a complete joke and the Jets defense has no pass rush. Yeah, NE must be real scared.
This is very sad. The only plus is the score, and that if it were a regular season game we'd surely have something to come... Chad is 3/8 for ONE YARD since the TD. Pathetic.
yeah that was an atrocious first half of football, if we pretend that first play from scrimmage never happend, we are likely looking at a real nightmare score wise. it's insane that we are only down six. Now if we could just move the ball on offense, mabe we could actually squeek out a win. Personally the starters need to go home, and let the backups get time and attempt to win a roster spot
It's almost unreal what happened with Kendall. They misvalued his worth to the team. To trade him for a draft pick devalues what the team is trying to accomplish NOW.
This is right on. If we do not make a move before the start of the season, we are in trouble. Both lines look extremely weak. It is glaringly obvious.
Gentlemen, this is UGLY. The offensive line is simply offensive to watch. They are getting no surge on running plays and throwing look-out blocks on passing downs. If they keep playing like this, I doubt that we'll get to 8 wins this year. I really want to be optimistic but when your QB is doing 3 step drops and has to RUSH his passes because somebody on the defense is braking through the line, we're in trouble.
