The bung sprayer. I once had 14 days of cha cha taken out of me by 2 Chinese nurses who poured warm oil up my shepard.

Oh dear. I'm afraid to ask, but it's a train wreck, and I must stop and stare: Is there a story?

Yes, there is more like a saga. I did edit and add some tuff to my prior post. There is a story, but KOZ keeps poking fun at me. I was a desperate man. Try doing anything with 14 days of you know what stopped up inside of you. You even lose the urge to eat.

You could do a search and find it. I was pretty drunk one night when I posted it. Do a search on GH, 1985, and enema.

    FOURTEEN DAYS?!?!

I was constipated once for 5 days and I wanted to die! I don't know how the hell you lasted two weeks.

I could post a sample routine, if you'd like.

I don't have much to say about nutrition and rest, as it's pretty much already been covered in this thread, other than the obvious fact that if you want to gain weight, you have to eat more calories than you burn.

whoa that shit (literally) is dangerous. when that happens the feces can harden like a rock and then it would require surgery. I had a friend who was doing those medical technician training programs and one of his first jobs was to scoop the shit out of an old man while the doctor would squeeze his intestines like toothpaste.

It was bad; make no mistake about it. You feel like your head is going to explode and you start breaking out everywhere; especially your derierre.

It was the rice. When I was in China in 1985 the food - I am talking real home grown Chinese food was so drastically different that my diet consisted largely of rice and beer. Couple that with the stress of a long business trip (50 days) and there you go.

Not to change the subject, but I have lost 23 pounds since the begining of June. Not too shabby.

Good work bro! Congrats! Was that just cutting the soda out? You must have done something else, or you were drinking enough soda to poison yourself.

Post whatever info you have bro. As I said early in the thread, all suggestions and information are welcome in here. The more we share, the more we can all use to adjust our own programs.

I followed many steps in your program, I ate the right stuff, which was important. Soda was a big problem though, so cutting it out was huge for the weight loss I am sure. Exercising more and in a good routine also has helped. So far, so good.

I have a Perrier or Pelligrino with my dinner each night. What are your thoughts on that Alio? Plus, I do allow myself a can of Sprite for lunch on Sundays. I just want to know what your thoughts are on those.

    No offense, but F THAT!

What they failed to mention is that you should be prepared to take a week's vacation after that day. Holy S***!

I want to get bigger, but that's just insane. I'll take the longer time over that program.

You seriously have to let us know how that works out for you 1028. I just hope you're able to type again after that! :eek:hmy:

I see no problem with them. Neither includes sugar as far as I know. They're carbonated correct? Carbonation isn't a big deal, and as far as I know, there's no issue at all with it.

The reason soda is a problem is not carbonation, it's the high fructose corn syrup (or crystaline fructose in some products.) Those are sweeteners created chemically, though differently than things like saccarine. Any sweetener is really a problem, due to the way the body processes sugar. Things like saccarine are also bad for totally separate reasons, but that's been discussed.

On the subject of Crystaline Fructose, I'm not sure if I mentioned it here, or if it was only in a private message with another site member, but this stuff is terrible. Until the question was raised from him about how I felt about it, I didn't even know what it was. Before responding, I checked into it, and I was disturbed to say the least.

This stuff, found in many of the supposedly "healthier" power drinks (I believe SoBe Energy Drink contains it, but I may be mistaken, I don't drink any of that crap anyway,) is created chemically, just like HFCS. It's also worse for your body. Research has shown this chemical to break down copper in the body, and can lead to serious forms of cancer.

The worst part? One of the parts of the creation of this chemical is the introduction of cyanide. Yes, CYANIDE. The same sh** they use on the subway tracks to kill rats. Thanks, um, but no thanks?
    --------------

On the subject of Sprite, here's my take. Of course you would be better off without it, however, is one per week going to kill you? I highly doubt it. You've already lost a lot of weight, and are keeping a good program now. That's the biggest key.

I'm not a bodybuilder. I'm not a big time nutritionist. I just made the decision to get myself into shape, and live a healthier lifestyle. I admit I sneak a trip to Burger King once every couple weeks. I drink beer on the weekend since the weather has been warm (not light beer either.) I've eaten ice cream over the summer (not low-fat.) I've even gone out to eat a few times and gorged myself like it was Thanksgiving. Quite simply, I've enjoyed myself in terms of eating.

The difference between today and 365 days ago is the fact that I keep to my program 95% of the time. I fit my 10 minute workout in every day. There's really no excuse not to, 10 minutes is not unreasonable to do in your own home. It's not even a trip to the gym. I just do it early in the morning, and my metabolism is on high all day!

I also eat properly the majority of the time. Most days I eat a salad for lunch. My breakfast is first my cup of coffee, then my smoothie after my workout. Then a couple hours later at work I eat a granola bar. Then I snack on some mixed nuts throughout the morning when I feel hungry. Again, lunch is a salad almost every day, then I snack on the nuts again in the afternoon. At dinner, we usually just eat regularly. Some nights is steak with some rice, some nights a nice bowl of macaroni, whatever.

That's the thing about getting into a routine. Once you do it consistently, it's no longer hard to do, plus it feeds on itself. It gives you the leeway to "cheat" with a can of soda on the weekend, since you probably burn off the calories while consuming it anyway. Sure, it's better not to introduce the HFCS into your body, but let's be honest, you can't possibly eliminate it from your diet unless you solely eat food from whole food stores, and that's out of the price range of most people.

You've developed good habits, and that's key IMO. I say continue doing everything exactly as you are now. Your Perrier and Sprite are your "reward" for doing the right thing for yourself. Be proud of yourself bro!
