Al Woodall as horrible, everytime I saw him in a game, it meant Joe Willie was hurt! I'll never forget Steve O'Neal's 98 yard punt against Denver he kicked it from his own endline and on the fly it landed on the Broncos 23 and rolled to the one. My favorite #21 was Clark Gaines, what a ticker he had, my least favorite #21 was Steve Tannen who symbolized to me the beginning of the downfall of the organization, he was a #1 pick and he was terrible.

No...I had season tickets through the 70's at Shea and we were awful 3-11 every year until 1978 when Matt came around, his throwing motion and charisma reminded me of Joe Willie, we were 8-8 that year... For NY Junc Ken O'Brien was originally #16....
