I am of the firm belief that ALL cross country games (anything involving one west coast, and one east coast team) should be played on the weekend. This would work out for both sides. Think about this, as much as it sucks to have a Yankees game on at 10pm for us, a 7pm game here happens just as people are getting ready to head home in California. At least on the weekends, you can move your schedule around to accomodate whatever time the game starts. You would think with the unbalanced schedule leading to far less cross-country games, that MLB would have the "smarts" to do this. Then again, Bud Selig is still in charge, so what am I saying?
time to order my Pizza and get my Coronas ready so I can watch this guy Hughes pitch for the first time
Yankees @ Angels is live here in Australia on Fox at the moment and on a 90minute delay on ESPN (due to MNF)...are Fox using cameras from the 1970s? the picture quality compared to ESPN is shocking
aside from his 2nd inning blunder, Hughes pitched a very good game....control was off at times but ill take 4 hits anyday....that 2nd inning again though, needs to eliminate those walks, because that one double really hurt
I should of known Torre wouldn't disappoint me leaving Hughes in to start the 7th. So what if Boston and Seattle already won. We can afford to lose any game we want.
I'll take it but I'll also turn it off now because I can't bear to watch how Torre uses the BP for the rest of the game.
