Just completed his 3rd straight complete game shutout. 42 straight scoreless innings. 17 from Hershiser's record. I thought that record was very close to untouchable in this day and age.
wow, he has been amazing. Still don't think that record will get broken, but he seems to be well on his way to doing it
I'm not saying it's as impressive as Joe D's 56-game hitting streak, but this record is very underrated IMO.
I said I never wanted the Yankees to bring in another NL pitcher but I'll make an exception in his case. He has been amazing.
Next up for Webb is the Brew Crew, they have been stumbling as of late so good chance to extend the scoreless streak
i personally think the brewers will get hot and go on a tear, and yes they will break his streak, gotta keep the faith alive...
All I know is that I'm very, very, very upset that I goofed on my fantasy league lineup. I thought I had him starting, but didn't. And we count complete games and shutouts as a stat, too. I think I just cost myself the chance to lock up first place for the season. But yeah, Webb's been pretty amazing.
saw on the scoreboard during the game that milwaukee scored a run in the 1st. there goes his chance to break hershiser's mark.
