the oline looks really bad it is too bad, because we have a lot of weapons this year. that wont matter if the line sucks
not gonna harbor on things at this time but some of the stuff i saw during the first half do NOT make me feel very comfortable in year 2 of tangini, i know its preseason but football is football and when you get beat in the trenches like the jets did on several offensive and defensive plays - its a big concern jil
i am gonna start one right now...... KC finishes this upcoming year as the starter...... there is no way your high second round pick rides the pine for 2 straight years without seeing some significant playing time. IMO - CP has to put in a testerverde like 1998 year to keep the job OR the oline has to absolutely crumble around him. jil
I am, Surprisingly, not real bothered by our bad showing... 1. No one got hurt...top priority. 2. It will humble the players and keep them working even harder going forward 3. It keeps expectations low in the national media...I prefer it that way 4. It's preseason and means nothing once the games count
What's that sound I hear? It is the 2006 Comeback Player of the Year getting thrown under the bus after 1.5 quarters of play in a meaningless preseason game. WHYDFML?
I don't think its that bad. He didn't have a good showing, so what. He's one guy in preseason. What bothers me is the total suckage from EVERYONE that we've seen thus far tonight. No one is going out and saying "OMG this team is 6-10". Its just a real poor preformance from everyone for this one game. They'll get chewed out, know what they have to improve on and go from there. This will be excellent motivation for the coming weeks.
The super slo-mo of Jmac breaking Sharpers's ankles was sick. Great play by him, against one of the best in the league.
