While I hate to see these elaborate celebrations, there is nothing wrong with a simple spike of the football after a big play... guys are getting pumped up... hitting them for penalties like this is like trying to suck the emotion out of the game. The emotions are a huge part of the games flavor, imo. I am just beside myself with this latest rule.

Can someone explain to me how the hell can that be a delay of game when your on the offense? You get 24 secs to position yourselves and get ready for the play, the spike is apart of that so it shouldent be a delay of game. You have to be kidding me with that rule setup....
It's like the NFL has to come up with some stupid new little rule just to show they're doing something, I wonder how much time and money that little gem cost?
