Lets put the Orioles game behind us. I hope the Yankees can rebound.

    Thursday: Verlander vs. Mussina
    Friday: Roberston vs. Pettitte
    Saturday: Durbin vs. Clemens
    Sunday: Bonderman vs. Wang

This is going to be a tough series. Hopefully the Yankees can take 3 of 4.

I could see 3, if we miraculously take game 1 then we should take 3

I'll take any break we can get after the past two games.

"The Tigers were undermanned and under the weather. All-Stars Ivan Rodriguez and Placido Polanco sat out with a flu bug that infested Detroit's clubhouse. Outfielder Craig Monroe and closer Todd Jones were also sick and didn't play, and the Tigers were hoping Justin Verlander, scheduled to start Thursday's series opener in New York, would shake off his symptoms in time to face the Yankees."

Tonight is a night we can get a huge win with both Boston and Seattle off.

So much for this game and the way we are hitting this week it will probably end up 12-0.

Nice work by that fan. Give him half of Matsui's RBI.

Verlander has thrown more pitches than Mussina. About a dozen more. he'll pitch maybe one more and then the shaky pen

It better be REALLY shaky, because Moose just does not want to make this a close game. Jesus.

We need to expose the 'pen tonight! Verlander was off and we got 3 runs off of him (so far), too bad Moose sucked it up

5 innings 7 runs. Classic Mussina. Lets trade him for Guthrie or Cabrera from Baltimore in the offseason. The O's would take him back for sure. They would probably even trade Bedard for him.
