No I'm not. He talked badly about guys from Miami a couple of times when he was introducing Vilma. Then he calls him kid. He spends useless time asking him the same question over and over again about trade rumors that Vilma said he paid no attention to. Horrible interview. I remember his interview last year with JV and he pissed off Vilma in that one, too.
I noticed that too when listening, it seems like he was rubbing it in Vilma's face that he was in trade rumours. I like Francessa when he talks about the Yankees because he knows his shit, but he's a horrible interviewer, and tends to talk about one thing too much when just talking on the radio.
Ease up!!! That's what they do, go to a remote and talk Yanks and Mets. I got Sirius Radio because I could not take these guys and Kay. I started to hate sports radio. I love the Scooter and I felt sad when he passed, but that's that. He was 89 and in bad health. NO, but Fatseca has to make it about his memories and repeat over and over the same facts and stories and do it again at 5pm in between the 3 20/20 updated about the same stories in between all the commercials. Thank god for NFL radio and ESPN NATIONAL radio.
It's not just Mike and the Mad Dog, it's NY radio in general that are obsessed with baseball. Last year I had some friends from Chicago in for Jets-Bears, and driving to the game on the Jets' pre-game on 1050 everyone was calling about the fucking Mets and Yankees. The Chicago guys were stunned, and this was in November, the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
