If he's a pro-bowl caliber left tackle, that would be a bargain and he would likely hold out for a better deal anyway.
I think the Jets would restructure it at after five with new bonus money and a lower salary so it wouldn't be a 10 million dollar cap hit.

I think the policy is not to renegotiate until the player has one year left on the deal, then it's OK; but also, who really knows because they seem to be making up these policies on the fly.

Darrelle Revis Contract Talks Resume I was watching The Hot List on ESPN News and they had a short story about Revis' contract talks heating up again. Maybe we'll have him signed either today or tomorrow...finally.
