(kudos to ign cuz they usually do AFC east last) Link: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/810/810854p1.html w00t! cant wait for this game!
AFC WEST San Diego Chargers - I know Michael Turner has done good in the time he has played, but I think an 85 is a bit excessive considering he has never carried the full load in his career. - One of the best O-lines ever 94/94/92/91/86. I think they rated McNeil too high too soon. - MLBs suck - Vincent Jackson at only a 79 is terrible, especially considering they gave Turner an 85 (there's the infamous Madden "name = high rating" scheme) Oakland Raiders - Sapp is still overrated (not a surprise, really) - Donovan Darius isn't on the Madden roster - Jordan got snuffed being rated the same as Rhodes. Yea, he had a bad year, but what did you expect behind that abyzmul line. He is better than Rhodes. - I will avoid using this team at ALL costs. Kansas City Chiefs - Priest Holmes is somehow rated an 82. The guy hasn't played in almost two full years and is coming off an ungodly amount of injuries - yet he's rated only 1 point lower than Lamont Jordan and two points higher than our own Leon Washington. - Didn't Brian Waters retire? - Another team I won't want to play with at all Denver Broncos - Kyle Johnson is underrated. Didn't he go Pro-Bowl last year? He is a great recieveing FB. - Jon Lynch - overrate, as usual - Offensive line actually isn't all that great, I fear the great running game of the Broncos may have come to an end. - Overall, not as good as I thought they'd be. NFC West St. Louis Rams - Shitty, shitty, shitty secondary. Look forward to getting burnt deep play after play - Steven Jackson only has 80 catching...... yet he had more receptions than most wide recievers last season. Big snub there. - Aside from Pace the o-line is terrible (Barron is OK, but a poor line overall) - LBs are just as bad as secondary. - You better be good on offense, because the only way to win with the Rams is to put up a TON of points, since your opponent is bound to put up a ton on you. Seattle Seahwaks - Surprisingly Shaun Alexander's rating is still that high (95), which I feel it should be. - Really good LBs - Whatever happened to Michael Boulware being the next great safety? Looks like he went the same way as Eric Coleman - good rookie season, not much after that. - Overall, a really solid team San Fransisco 49rs - Nice corner backs, which your going to need because..... - Defensive line (especially DTs) and line backers are terrible - Solid offensive line, makes this a running-first team IMO since the only recieving options are Jackson and Davis. The other recievers suck. - But I do have a feeling that Davis s going to be utilized ALOT Arizona Cardinals - Edge = OVER RATED - Defensive line is pretty good - Overall poor linebackers (87/80/69) - Decent secondary - AWESOME recievers. Except they are slow, which unfortunately, is a huge problem in Madden.
they?re on Revis 82 overall Miller 98 speed Barret 75 overall (now, that?s low, miller poteat and revis are above him!) harris 76 overall kimo 80 overall K. Coleman 70 overall (kimo and coleman should be switched imo= no haynes, wadesworth, but houston is on there
kenyon is waaaaaaaaaay too low and thomas is also very low for his ability. I think rhodes is slightly high.
half of the ratings are out and the only 99 overall players i found are: Champ Bailey and LT. I like that!
AFC EAST New York Jets - Eric Smith is neck-and-neck with Coleman for the starting spot, and arguably played better than him last year, yet he's 10 points lower - Dyson and Barrett are being ripped off BIG TIME - Pleasent surprise from Darian Barnes with an 84 - Ummmmmm Kimo is an 80 and Kenyon Coleman is a 70.....riiiiighhhht - Nice depth at LE, although Ellis is overrated - Bryan Thomas should be higher - 10 sack, break out season is more deserving than an 82 - Vilma is overrated (at least in the 3-4), while Hobson, like Thomas, is underrated. They should have spread those points around a bit better. Like Thomas=85, Hobson=84, and Vilma=90 - Ben Graham is underrated - SHOCKED at Brandon Moore's rating. IMO they did our o-line a HUGE favor with D'Brick at 87 and Moore at 88 -Barton is also underrated, just as in real life. Miami Dolphins - Offensive line is terrible - So is the secondary - D-line is also pretty bad - Linebackers are AWESOME - Chris Chambers is overrated New England Patriots - Very good O-line, I'm glad they didn't over rate Maroney, otherwise they would be an unstoppable team - Tory James is over rated. Sure he gets some picks each year, but isn't better than Andre Dyson (again, Madden plays favorites and rates players based on name/team) - I thought Adalius Thomas was an OLB??? I could be wrong though.... - Randy Moss a 93!?!?!?! Just what the fuck has he done in the past two years????? (Ohhhh, that's right, he has a famous name and is on the Patriots, so he gets rated higer) Buffalo Bills - Actually, I think this is a pretty accurately ranked team - In just one or two short years, they went from one of the best defenses in the league to being below average. - Only weapon appears to be Lee Evans beating you deep - Brian Moorman, their fucking punter, has 89 speed. NFC East New York Giants - I thought they were supposed to have a bad o-line this year? Madden doesn't think so, it's actually a pretty solid group - Offense is otherwise rated pretty good, IMO - Pretty good LBs, decent secondary, and great DEs Dallas Cowboys - Nice secondary - Marcus Spears and Greg Ellis are underrated IMO - I knew they'd have Julius Jones and Marion Barber rated evenly, typical Madden - Good O-line. Awesome recievers. - Romo is under rated - Definately looking forward to playing with the Cowboys Philadelphia Eagles - 3/4 of a great secondary. Good LBs. Overall a good defense, should be tough. - Westbrook gettin some much deserved love, he's gonna be fun to play with (I'm a really big user of screens, which work great with McNabb/Westy) - Another overall very solid team, may end up being one of my favorites like last year Washington Redskins - Very solid defense, especially secondary and linebackers. They finally have a decent D-line that's been a big achiles heel for them in the past. - Awesome o-line will be nice with a 92 rated Portis - Lack of a tightend or solid recieving core really hurts them, though
Brian Moorman is fast...probably not 89, but I wouldn't be upset if he got 80-82. The guy was a soccer star and he's gonna some wheels.
Joey Porter gets cut, is older, had one of the worst seasons of his career and he stays at 95. Good player, but not 95. More like 90-91. They have Jason Taylor as an OLB.
  89 speed from a punter! That's hilarious, even though he is fast, seeing that is funny. You're telling me if i'm running down the sideline with Leon I could get caught by Moorman!
I also find it weird Jason Taylor isn't the highest rated defender on Miami. He was 96 last season, now he was won the Defensive MVP and they keep him at 96? He deserves a 98.
