Posada is hitting great..a great catcher but a base running liability..the worst I've ever seen.

Arod goes 6 for 12 in a 3 game span ( after an 0-19 slump) and hes now on fire?

lets just say Arod is being Arod...Fire would be hitting a HR almost every game of the week and still hitting .400+

Like I said earlier, Duncan is the perfect guy if you need a sac fly. Even if he doesn't get a hit he will get the run in because he never hits ground balls and everything goes far.

We will pick up a game on Boston or Seattle again later. A game on Cleveland or Detroit if they flip positions. Probably the best scenario is for Cleveland, Detroit and Seattle to all lose. We stay 7 behind Boston but will only be 1 1/2 out of the WC.

gotta give credit where credit is due. Good job by the Yanks to get 10 games over & legitemately back in the race so early in August.. They are now pretty much a lock for the WC..

I have been reading this thread and wanted to let everyone know that last week on the WCBS radio broadcast they said that Bruney HAS an option left. They also said that Proctor had an option left but I guess that doesn't matter much anymore.

If he ended his career today, I think he'd be in there for sure. The only way he wouldn't is if get caught up in that whole...

well i don't wanna jinx it. I support A-Rod and I believe he's legit. And even if he isn't, as they say.. ignorance is bliss. :)

goddamn I wish I could watch Yanks games. espnews takes the time to announce the run, but makes you wait till the end of the game just to see it... shitisweak
