yeah, considering the brewers already ran out of bullpen guys, and all we have left is the closer

Going to take a bigtime screwup for the Brewers to not win it here.

When the Mets got the first two runners on in extra innings and Alou was up, why didn't Willy bunt? A fly ball then puts you up and Wagner is in the game. Is it one of those......"Well, Alou can't bunt" situations? Geez, the guy has only been playing baseball for 40 years. You would figure he could have taken a couple of days to learn how to bunt (if that's the case).

Alou has 9 sac bunts in his career and they all came within his first 3 years in the league. Hasn't had one since 1993.

In that same vein, in 124 AB's this season Alou has grounded into NINE DP's. Wow.

Sad....then Willie should have pinch hit someone than CAN bunt. Willie doen't seem to have that 'go for the win' instinct, which is strange becasue he's a Torre disciple and Joe does have it. Willie is more of 'I'm going to do it my way and hopefully we win' type of guys. That was a very important game last night. I wouldda had Wagner get 5 outs. The brew-crew did tie it with 1 out in the eighth. Out of respect to Glavine, out of respect to the team, you bring in Wagner after Feliciano hits Fielder. There have been games where Wagner has thrown 30 pitches, and they weren't even save situations. Get the win, and if Wagner is unavailable today, so be it.

    Best record in the NL.

    Worst yellow-belly fanbase in Baseball.

    I hate Met fans.
