Why does Gary saying that the Mets have a clear edge in the bullpen make me very worried?

Why does Gary think that Milledge(or anyone for that matter) would've been able to take 2nd base on that hit?

It's easy to forget that Wright is actually pretty fast for someone with his pop.

Chip Ambres with the big hit to take the lead!

Edit: wow, Nomar was in way too close with two outs. Is Ambres that good a bunter?

 at noarm playing in at 3rd. had he been playing at normal depth, he makes that play.

also funny that a guy brought in for defense earlier (kemp) can't catch a ball that most OFs would make a play on.

Unbelievable - Green totally screws up the pickoff of Pierre.

Willie going against the book in walking Kent. Of course, if Green could field, it be two outs and no one on base (and the play was scored as a stolen base, so any runs are earned).

Wags is certainly making this exciting. A single now and the Mets lose in horrible fashion.

Wow, Wagner makes Nomar look foolish with the backdoor curve ball!

Difficult game to watch. It's like watching a Colts-Dolphins game. An old divisional rival against a current one. I have had the game on since the early innings as background noise, but I didn't notice the score until a few moments ago!

I've been listening to the game since it started. top of the 10th, miles got on to lead off the inning, top of the order coming up.

cardinals bench is almost empty. all they have left is the backup C

Rolen (hopefully) puts it out of reach at 7-2.
