Another come from behind win in the late innings... these are the Yankees I know and love. Hopefully we can get some big hits and/or quality innings out of Wang to give the pen some rest and continue to close in on the sux. 7 games out

    Actually that's 4.

A sweep would be great but we won the series and that's what we all are hoping for. Just keep winning series and everything else will fall into place. Picked up games on Boston, Minnesota and Cleveland last night. In third place for the wildcard now.

Ugh..just looking ahead and we have a DH with TB on Saturday and have to pitch DeSalvo in one of those games.

We are inching closer and closer, 5 back in the L column from Cle and 6 in back of Boston.

Hopefully he pitches the second game. If we can hit early and often in game one, we can weaken their pen and give us a better chance to outhit them in the second game.

7 games back of the Red Sox! It is not over yet boys!

What is over though, is others besides GM making game threads. :)

A-Rod delivers in the 9th as usual. Posada should of pinch hit for Cabrera though or atleast Cano. Damn.

Damn, that sucked. I'de rather lose by 10 then lose that way. At least Minnesota lost too. And yeah, I think Posado sould have pinch hit for Cano. The real problem is we are going to see Nieves twice more in the next 4 games. Once because he is Mussina's personal catcher which is a joke and once because they play a day/night dh on Saturday. He can't buy a hit with a credit card.

today I had a particular interest in the game. extremely slanted odds against toronto (yankees were -240), so I used pickspal and did a parlay, including the jays to cover the runline, lilly to K more than Morris did, and the giants to cover the runline.

    Won a big parlay. Huge.

All Morris needed was ONE strikeout to screw you and it didn't happen.

Nice win. Don't have to ask what you made, but how much per dollar?

    haha, you suck.

    Soss:

It wasn't as good as it should've been, in my mind. played 1,000 and won an additional 6,289. I turned that around and am playing another big parlay tonight. 2 are dependent on the delayed Sox game.

I was amazed Lilly only Kd one. I thought Lilly over Morris was a great bet, because it was 1/1 odds and Lilly is so much more of a strikeout pitcher (and he goes deeper into games).

i dont think nieves will catch for mussina tomorrow. They cant afford to sit posada two days in a row and the nieves mussina combo has been rather lack luster
