    Kyle Farnsworthless is the man.

    I want Torre FIRED.

I don't give a flying rat's ass how many games we win, I will STILL complain that he's a DOUCHEBAG. He's a TERRIBLE in-game manager, and an even worse motivator.

Guys don't want to renegotiate, even if their demands are met? Seriously? So, in other words, ignoring this season, all-star caliber players refuse to negotiate with a team that at it's core should EASILY win the division, even if they get everything they ask for? WTF does THAT tell you?

junc you can sit all day and talk your BS that ARod is garbage because you perceive his post-season lack of success as the only facet of his game that matters. You can argue all day long that Torre is some fantastic manager, regardless of how he uses his pen, how he pulls starters when they're pitching great, just due to pitch counts, how he continues to bench Abreu when he's actually hitting, but Matshiti plays every damn day.

I'm going to take the route of the Mets/Yankees arguments, and ask you to defend Joe Torre. Show me examples of why he DESERVES to be a major league manager. Not even a Yankees manager, but a MAJOR LEAGUE manager.

He does NOT belong on ANY MLB bench.

I'll even give Joe a small reprieve on the subject of players stating they'll test the market. The F***ING STUPID Yankees' stance that they will not extend contracts until after a season ends just might cost us one of the best closers in history, an All-Star catcher, and the BEST player in the game.

But we'll still have Farnsworth, and pretty Derek to hand "Mr. Torre" his bat between innings.

I'm disgusted by this team. I'm growing into a hatred of my own damn team. Even worse, I keep trying to avoid the games, and yet I continue to turn on the radio or tv, just because I can't help myself.

Half of me hopes the Yankees blow the entire season and everyone walks during the winter, just to prove to the management that Cashman and Torre are total fools. But that doesn't help me, it just makes me have to suffer next year. If there were at least light at the end of the tunnel, I'd be fine with a losing season. Hell, EVERYONE has to have them. But the thought of this steaming shitpile only growing into KC Royal proportions is just too much to stomach. Especially when there is no reason for it. The Royals don't like to spend money, the Yankees don't have the small market salary defense.
    --------------------

BTW: The thread's probably been so quiet because I haven't been around. I usually post like 3 pages worth of thread by myself during games (usually talking to myself,)

Im so over Mussina and his catcher Nieves....he cant even pitch like he used to so why does he have to have Nienves back there?

ugggg....another reason why I think this season is going to end up in disappointment

Actually, Moose pitches exactly the same as he always has. The Yankees just don't score 6 runs a game to bail his ass out anymore.

Moose has always been an average pitcher with no fastball. He's always gotten by either as the "ace" of the Orioles, (come on, seriously how hard is that?) or behind a quality hitting Yankees lineup. He's a piss-poor MLB pitcher who's always gotten by on his name, rather than his ability.

I disliked him when he was brought here, I disliked him all along. I gave him a break last year when he started tutoring the young guys, but that didn't last long.

This "special catcher" bullshit is a Torre thing, and is just one more reason on top of many to hate the asshole. How Torre has managed to run for the past 6.5 seasons on his now ancient success of the 90s is beyond me.

Upton hands the Yankees a run. Sadly, that's the only way they can get them now.

A triple? Seriously? How is that not an ERROR? Upton TOTALLY MISPLAYED that ball.

Are you kidding me? Pettitte pitches his ass off all year, and this shit team decides to put something together for MOOSE?!?!

I'm getting so sick of this team I am negative about any SUCCESS they have now too.

    I give him 2 innings.

:eek:fftopic: : The BlueJays need a new road uniform. That has to get hot in the sun.

Don't worry Alio. With everything that's gone on this year, there is no way that Torre will be back next year. I think he's gonna step away. He seems worn out. I'm not necessarily complaining.

hehe..a man after my own heart..don't worry he will be fired and hopefully before the season is over so it has more impact. (oh ans so will Cashman who has done absolutely nothing but ruin this team..it was Watson and Steinbrenner that put together the team that won 4 championships. Cashman has done nothing)

More of Torre there...giving Mussina his own catcher even though the guy can't get a hit to save his life..also more of Torre's attitude of babying Posada.

It wasn't Torre's success..You or I could have managed that team to 4 championships..they excelled despite Torre, not because of him..

Totally not true with Posada. He absolutely wants to test free agency, he said so as recently as yesterday. Rivera is washed up and hopes the Yankees want him back because he probably has no where else to go at the money he is accustomed to. I too think Arod will end up signing with the Yankees but only if Torre is gone.

The only players who want Torre here are Jeter, Rivera and maybe Posada and I'm totally serious about that. Two of them may be gone even if he is.

Joseph really has to stop using Farnsworthless as the setup man...What another wonderful performance by Kyle today, bravo Kyle, bravo...

And if not for a great defensive play by Foolips...The game would of been tied...

    BRUNEY FOR SETUP MAN!!!!!
