So when the hell are they going to fire that senile old asshole who manages this team? For the second time in two weeks he sits Abreu after a 3 hit night the night before. He start Phillips, Thompson and Cairo who go a collective 0-7 and then when he finally does bring in Abreu and Cano they go 2-3..way too late to matter. And I don't want to hear that it was because a leftie was pitching. These guys are the big leagues now and you don't get paid 16 million dollars to hit only one kind of pitching. It's no wonder Torre was voted the worst manager in baseball over the first half this year.
Clemens was due for a bad outing and it wasn't that bad. We still had chances but kazmir pitched well.

because then the yankee fans don't have anything to complain about? can't insult torre as much if they win. I don't know if you've noticed, but the vast majority of the yankee game threads are composed of posts by yankees fans. :wink:
Torre needs to be bashed by Yankee fans until he's gone. Him along with Cashman (especially Cashman). Nobody wants to return to the team while either of them are there. Posada just being the latest to say he wouldn't sign a new deal during the season even if they gave him everything he wants. He plans on trying free agency. Rivera will too and Arod is totally gone in my opinion.
I think that you're wrong on this one. Posada & Rivera will remain Yankees, but dont want a contract dispute to go on during the season. All they need to be focusing on is winning games for now. Torre, I agree, has got to go. However, I believe that Cashman should stay around. As for arod, who the fuck knows anymore. Personally, I think that he will sign an extension with the Yankees; but thats a complete guess/hopeful thinking.
