What was mentioned in the article is what you're forgetting...he may have struggled against the run at tims last season, but he was a top flight coverage LB that allowed our d to get extremely creative w/ blitzes down the stretch.

Barber- Most tackles last season than any CB. Even gave safeties a run for their money. 2 INTs returned for TDs last year, most among CBs (tied with Chris Mc). And was voted in as a starter to his 3rd CONSECUTIVE ProBowl. Yeah, real decline. Brooks- 3 INTs (2nd most among LBs behind Fletcher) and 1 for a TD last season (only 8 LBs manage to take a pick into the endzone last year). 96 tackles last year and went to his 10th CONSECUTIVE ProBowl. Their "decline" are still better than most players "peaks". C'mon now.
Roy Williams, yes. (guy couldnt cover a book report) Polamalu (based on last year. yes. but we'll see how Polamalu plays) Bob Sanders. no. the guys way more physical and has the same ability to cover and run stop.

sanders is strictly a run stopper and has absolutely no cover skills. he's even worse than roy williams in coverage.
hester is defintly better than Miller. and that he can?t return punts hurts his stock, too. But he should still be top 3
hester scored both of his KR tds against the rams. big deal. is lee evans a great WR because he racked up some 300 yds against the texans last year? he hasnt done shit outside of that rams game. looked absolutely horrible and didnt know where to go. he is a great punt returner, defenitely the best, but miller is defenitely the better kick returner of the two. plus hester fumbles way, WAY too often. better punt returner - yes. better kick returner - no.
Third ranked defense in football. Thats not impact. Did you see how bad Vilma looked in 3-4. His jet career probably coming to end after this year. K morrison family are Raider season holders. So He will probably in a Raider uniform,longer than Vilma in his jet uniform.
