I tried to find a Dwyane White pic but couldn't. 66 Donald Evans(not in uniform but I found a pic) Randy Rasmussen Dave Cadigan I couldn't find Lonnie Paleleli unfortunately and we all know kendall is #66 now.
All these old, recent & current pics of Jets players are pretty cool, but I'm afraid I'm gonna ruin this countdown. START THE DAMN SEASON NOW! There I said it. After such a good season last year I have a good feeling they will do better this year. We have the best young Coach & GM tandum in the league right now, if they keep on going on the positive (Outside of the Kendall incident) the Jets are looking to have another 10-6 season or hopefully 11-5. We shall see. :jets:
Guy Bingham It was hard finding a 64 pic, Treor Matich has his own web sites w/ pics from his playing ys but I gues he wanted to forget about his time w/the Jets.
Good job neid. Are you any relation to John Neidert? your username is closeand thse are hard to find pics. Todd Burger
He is my father, and those are pictures that he gave me and I scanned them. He was drafted by Cincy in 1968, and was released after 7 games. The Jets saw some tape of him and picked him up in 1968 for the rest of the season. After the 1969 season, he was traded to the Bears for the 70 season. I think out of all of his stories, the best one is how he only made $15,000 his rookie seaons, and earn another $15,000 for winning the Super Bowl. Times sure have changed with contracts today. I go up usually with him for the Jets Alumni weekend against the Giants. GO JETS!
That's a great story, that's a nice troke of luck being picked up by midseason by the eventual SB Champs. That might be the most significant game in pro football history and to be a part of that is really special. Do you have any other pics/memorabilia you can show us? #61 Jeff criswell(his original #)
Those are all of the pictures that I have from his playing days, except for the ones that I have when he played is college ball at Louisville. I believe he has a bunch of pictures from the 10 and 25 year reunions that he went to. At the 25th reunion he got jersey, which he had framed. I have sweatshirt that he got signed for me by the entire team at the 10 year reunion, and I have a bunch of stuff signed by Joe Namath, which I have passed on to my son for his room. Next time I go over to Sarasota, I will see what my dad has left so I can share some of the memories.
Thanks. I was at th game they honored the 25th anniversary of the SB III team, they beat Cincy back in '93 wearing the throwback uni's. Thy handedout the poster beow which I am sure I have somewhere but I guess they took that pic early in the year b/c I don't see your dad in it. On to #60: Larry Grantham Dan Alexander
