Bah. Personality isn't going to produce some talent where it doesn't exist.

Cash really has a lot of blame for this team. How is it possible to spend $200 million and have no bench, a backup catcher who can't hit his way through a shoelace, middle relievers who don't throw strikes, no consistent power threat besides A-rod, etc.

Who wants to bet that if the Yankees fall 15 games out or more in the next month or so Rocket hits the DL with some strain or pull?

    This season sucks.

When I was a kid, your best reliever was your "fireman" which is a much harder job than being your "closer." Not dogging Rivera, mind you, but his stats with inherited runners I bet are much more down to earth than his saves stats.

I can deal w/ a non-playoff year but I hope thy are wise enough not to panic and make bad moves at the deadline. I'd rather be sellers than buyers, dump some salary and get younger.

    I couldn't agree more.

I totally agree. The thing is that there really is nothing they could add. the pieces are already there, they are just performing like shit.

This team has packed it in. I dont think anyone outside of Mo, A-Rod, Jeter, Posada, Pettitte and Clemens give a shit. Salute to you 2007 season the biggest joke in the world

dont forget wang. He too has pitched pretty well but it has been in vain because of an abysmal offense. So much for the greatest lineup in history

We are a train wreck. Bedard was shutting this lineup down...2 runs in 2 games, how nice.

Outside of last Friday night, how many runs has this team scored?

    Enough said.

He doesn't get 18 million dollars per start, but anyway...

he did come through with another panacean performance. Tonight was just the type of effort that will jumpstart this team and get them back on track. The Red Sox better watch out now!
