I would've just left Schoenweis out there. Why bring in Heilman or anyone else?

Not that the Mets have been swinging well, but come on, Wang's had some nasty stuff tonight.

he throws a nasty hard two seamer in general.
not the first time he's been dealing.

im guessing Joe doesnt want fatigue to be the cause of yet ANOTHER injury....i think thats why hes so cautious with his pitchers.

yeah, I seriously don't get how he pulls wang one out short. if you were going to pull him, take him out after the single.

Good series win after Perez' gem Friday night...Bats came alive strong and they won another series, something they just have to do...

Great game by Wang, and his sinker was on, I was stunned at how he made Reyes look. But why take him out Joseph? For what!!!

Even Joe had to put a damper on a great night, i'm still trying to understand why he was taken out.

Cautious is pulling him after he throws 100. He was at what, 117? And there were two outs in the bottom of the ninth. This is the only guy that can give us nine innings, and Joe just has to yank him.

It's obviously not an official game unless either Myers, Vizcaino, Proctor, or Bruney appear in it.

    Joe Torre is a tool.

    stfu n00b

Joe Torre has managed the Yankees to 4 World Series titles and you have 1 post. I'll take the expertise of Joe Torre over some n00b!

I hate typing n00b. makes my fingers bleed

I know how he hurt it. The comparison is that both were thought to be 20 game winners and both continue to get hurt in bizarre ways. A hamstring on a 60 degree day that leads you to miss the entire year is a perfect comparison to Pavano.

Pavano was an 18 game winner before coming to the yankees. He was expected to be just as good here. Hughes is projected to be at least as good. Both get bizarre injuries that keep them out all year. Only you would find that comparison stupid.
