As much as I respect Jeter as a player, as one of the best clutch guys in history, and as a true Yankee lifer, I've always thought he's a gutless work and a dirtbag. I mean, he's a media darling and always says all the right things to the press, but it's little things like this that I always notice and I can't help but despise him for it. I mean, you're the captain of this damn team. I don't care what off-the-field issues you may have with any of your teamates, on the field you both wear the same uniform and as the captian, you have to back everyone on your team and put your ass on the line right next to theirs. Edit: Glavine, go shit on a plate and eat it. Well that was a great time for me to rant about Jeter.

I'm no fan of Torre and how he misuses his pen, but I'm impressed he's willing to go with Vizcaino in big games and tight spots at this point. I'd expect that guy to be buried somewhere next to Paul Quantrills arm, the way he's pitched. Nice to see Joe have some faith in someone other than Proctor.
Well it's no secret I've always hated Glavine. Mota I hate for obvious reasons and Schoenweis has just been horrible.
Are you kidding? He's so inconsistent it isn't funny. If you watch all day he's still moving into position as the ball is being pitched. No way he can be accurate with the movement and his drunk pink cheecks in his eyes...
Willie Randolph is dumb. At least this is one series where Yankees fans don't have to worry about their team being outmanaged.
