Mets @ Yankees June 15-17

He was treated poorly. He played well here, and got a raw deal. I can't blame him for that. At this point in his career, he needs to take what he can get, and the Yankees came calling.

He's no All-Star, but he's a very good utility guy, and he's been playing the best first base defensively of anyone who has been there yet this year.

Giving away outs, especially with Glavine struggling, is dumb.

 

I refuse to watch another Mets game that Tom Glavine pitches in. No talent waste of space olden ancient prehistoric primeval primordial antiquated obsolete antique. Crummy tacky worthless talentless washed up shoddy rubbish useless ineffective hopeless futile ineffectual inadequate pathetic incompetent ineffectual inept half assed pitcher.

Why doesn’t he do us all a favor and quit now.

 

Aside from the game in Detroit, and this one so far, Glavine's been nothing to complain about. Just don't expect him to be an ace. Be happy with 6, 7 innings and 2, 3 runs.
