I'm watching the game and wanted to mention something they said on air, and realized there was no where to put it. So, from now on I (or another Sox fan) will start Sox series threads. I know not many of you guys are fans, but there are a few of us anyway, and the Yankee fans may be interested in at least following the games like I do with the Yankee threads. Anyway, the thought I had was how remarkable it is that no one in the D'backs lineup has ever faced Josh Beckett before tonight, considering how long he was in the NL. As for the game, 1-0 Sox, Lugo with a leadoff homer. EDIT: I can't work a calender. It's 6/8-6/10
Yea, that is a little surprising about Beckett. What's sad is that their best player is Eric Byrnes (who I still think is a prick after the shove he gave 'Tek in the 03 wild card series). Good, young pitchers though......I'm sure they are happy to have Randy back, even if its just to mentor.
I was wondering why there were never any Sox threads. There's a bunch of you on the board, so it makes sense that you'd do it. Not that I really want to hear about you winning though. If you lose, then I'm all ears.
Devil Murrell Jack DW Patriot-SomethingOrOther How many Yankees fans regularly post in the game threads: Me typeO MM GM EcKo Tee junc 5-7. I think it's fair enough.
not to mention there are other sox fans on the board im sure who just arent as active about the team as those who you named are.
What the fuck. They designate Romero for the cooked Timlin, while keeping Joel Pineiro on the team? He better be the one to go when Lester comes back.
