Oh my god....Halladay got rocked tonight, gave up 8 runs...I get back from the gym and Tampa is up in the top of the 9th with the score 11-6 and almost changed the channel but figured I would watch the Jays bat

SO the first batter gets on and gets driven home by the next batter and then that guy gets driven in...Tampa changes pitchers....a double scores the guy currently on base and now it's 11-9 with runners on 1st and second...still none out.

Alex Rios grounds to 2nd but they only get 1 so its 1st and 3rd with 1 out....up comes Vernon Wells, he doubles and scored 2, tying the game.

Tampa changes pitchers again, then they intentionally walk Frank Thomas and Troy Glaus to load the bases...Aaron Hill comes up, the guy WALKS him...and the Jays win it 12-11.....WOW

My dad ran to my room and told me to put it on...I picked it up at 11-10 when Stairs tied it with a double...

    In other news...
Franklin Gutierrez hit a home run in Cleveland's 1-0 win tonight. Sabathia pitched a CG with 8 Ks and 0 BBs. He is now 9-1.

    That's the quietest 9-1 i've heard of...EVERYTHING is Beckett, Beckett, Beckett...I understand he's 8-0, but I had no idea CC was 9-1.

His ERA being 3.40 probably has something to do with it. 3.40 in the AL these days is good, but it's not like it is earth-shattering great, either.

Most of it is the fact that Sabathia's uniform says Cleveland on front as opposed to New York or Boston.

Didn't know his ERA was that high...

I don't buy the uniform argument...Because i've heard the hype of Danny Haren and how great he's pitching, John Lackey pitching well too, even Boof Bonser, who isn't pitching very good, but his late run got some pub...

But 9-1 is nothing to blink at, no clue CC was doing that good.

Lackey was my pick for the AL Cy Young when I made my picks on 4/1 (stupidly, I did not post them in the MLB predictions thread here).

Kelvim Escobar has also been very good. He got bombed in one game, otherwise his ERA would be under 3. if the Angels hold on to their lead, he'll go to 7-3 on the season.

Bonser was a big prospect back in 2002. Then he had a blah year in the minors in 2003. In November of that year the Giants traded him along with Joe Nathan and Francisco Liriano to the Twins for A.J. Pierzynski. That will go down as one of the worst trades ever.

Yeah, I am not liking how he has looked as of late. If Halladay is not the ace, our already dismal pitching situation gets even worse.
