Thanks for the link Champ. Very interesting that Mangini showed clips of McCareins. Maybe the guy just needed a kick in the ass.

As long as he scores some td's I for sure as hell don't. What do you think about Curtis' possible comeback?

I have that same bone on bone disease & from mine I would say CM would be better off on the bench cause he will never/ever be 100% again. BTW the same goes for DeW

I agree with you on Curtis' account. I definately would not want him to jeopardize his future just becuase he "thinks he can come back." But, in Dewayne's situation I think that becuase he is still pretty young and the disease or "injury" hasn't set him back much I think he can still contribute.

Didn't McCareins have the highest average per catch last season? He proved that he was a deep threat. Pennington can throw the ball deep, he just doesn't have the strong arm to make the hard short and mid range throws.

Nah sorry his long passes sort of waffle in the wind. Forget about outs totally. Over the middle 5/10 yarder he is decent. Beyond 10 yards though it becomes keep ur fingers crossed type thing.

And that is what hurts the Jets. Teams do not fear his arm and stck the LOS. They stop our run and he is FORCED to try to throw deep and can't with consistency! I have seen him whiff on 7 yarders too. They looked like helicopters!

I'm calling shananigans on you on this one. Maybe a bad route, maybe a miscommunication, but whiffing on a 7 yard pass would have nothing to do with arm strength.

My 16 year old brother can thread a tire at 7 yards no prob. You're just exaggerating.

WRONG! I saw him do that in MIAMI on a 7yarder to Baker two years ago. He jumped up and threw it weakly to baker and it never got to him. He threw only with his arm and his feet were not planted. review the tapes before you call on anything. The guy I was sitting with was a CHAD fan and he got annoyed with his weak arm that could not complete that pass. We are talking about ONE pass of 7 yards as an illustration. I have seen him complete several 7 yarders. I complimenmt your brother !
