Koz, I don't want to say that you are pathetic, because more or less, you are a straight up guy. Buy I just looked back on your post(s) in this thread, and they are filled with racial innuendos.

Excuse me? Now you've hit paydirt.

I want you to educate me, and point out EACH and EVERY racial innuendo I've inserted in this thread.

Please, right now, stop what you're doing and let's hear it...I'm dying to know what they are, as are the rest of our fellow posters.

I'm not Koz's biggest fan, that's well known, but I never have seen anything racial from the guy. These are BIG things you are charging him with, and if untrue, you should probably take a walk. This is serious man.

JoeJet, it's been about 8 minutes since your last post and I'm still waiting to hear those racial innuendos.

Come on. What's the problem? Can't find any? Why don't you just call me a racist to my face instead of pulling a stunt like that? Funny, I've never made a racist comment on this board, but all of a sudden JoeJet, the resident expert, feels that I've stepped over the line.

Can't we all just get along? JoeJet - that's ridiculous.

Let it be known that JoeJet lingered in the thread for a while and then took off like the coward that he is.

A real man Joe, calling me a racist in a veiled sort of way- when I ask you for proof you turn tail and hide under Mommy's dress.

Next time you call someone out, make sure that you've got the proof AND balls to back it up. You're pathetic...

    wow....just, wow.

Look, I'm all about leniency here, for (I'll admit) selfish reasons. We NEED Miller with the Pats loading up on WRs, but you can't support what he did. This is Millers only offense (yes, i realize he threw a party that got out of hand in college, didn't we all?) so I can't see Goodell suspending him...More likely it will be Mangini punishing him in some way. Anything more than suspending him for 2 games is absurd and Mangini really shouldn't do anything here except read him the riot act and let him know that any more foul-ups will result in "x" amount of games suspended.

The whole, "Miller was trying to punch a dude and ended up accidentally hitting a woman" defense is a joke and trying to imply that the woman deserved to get hit is absolutely absurd.

JoeJet, look I realize you love Miller and you love the Jets, but you gotta admit that what Miller did is completely wrong and has no place in a civilized society and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Secondly, implying that he was arrested because he's a black man is laughable.

My opinion: He should be fined for now. Once the details come out (ie, how bad was the woman hurt, for how long did he lead police on a chase) then MAYBE a 2 game suspension is warranted.

Justin Miller scored a 22 on his wonderlic which is 4 points above average for his position but he's "dumb as a stump"?
    Because he made a mistake?
    Because he lost his cool?
    Because he paniced and ran?
    Please clarify.

The only comments remotely about race he made were in reference to this and BradwaySux's targeting theory:

You were the only one that brought race up except for FREEJET, who made a joke about Al Sharpton, and BradwaySux who debated the race issue intelligently; neither of which was really an effort to bring race into this. You are the one trying to pull the race card, and you failed.

BTW, if you want to talk about race, maybe we should also talk about gender:

    I'm sure you're a true ladies' man.

Justin Miller scored a 22 on the Wonderlic and he still doesn't know to turn his head and look for the ball when one of his fellow defenders yells 'BALL!' at the top of his lungs. Yeah, he's a freaking genius.

I'm not sure what the Jets should do in this situation because the facts are still trickling out, but I know how I feel about Justin Miller. He is another one of those players that doesn't take his opportunities seriously enough to warrant the money he is making. When you are a player of a near-billion dollar football franchise, you are a public representative of that organization (and also the league) and you are held to higher standards. Do I fault him completely for his alleged reactions after he threw a punch? I don't know if I'm qualified to judge that on a psychological level. But do I fault him for getting himself in the situation in the first place? You bet your ass. If a new coaching regime comes in and preaches character and professionalism, you keep your freaking nose clean. I don't care if you need 100 posse members to keep you out of trouble, if you want to get paid in this league after what has happened in the past year, you do it. He is pissing away opportunities. And that makes him dumb as a stump.

If this were some no-name assistant coach then he'd be out on his ear already. It shouldn't be one rule for some and another rule for others, that will only serve to let Miller know he's untouchable, not rein him in.

He paniced and ran! And then he only got a block away before he was apprehended. Doesn't sound like the fastest man in the NFL to me. KOZ is right, "dumb as a stump".

I don't know if Justin Miller is intelligent or not, but I do know I wouldn't use the wonderlic to prove that point.

I didn't see anything remotely racist. Nor would I expect any such thing from a guy like KOZ. Calling Justin Miller stupid for this episode is not a racist statement.

Let's move off this point, and not discuss it further. Let's also not discuss the discussion that we're not having. Or discuss not having the discussion that we couldn't have. Or discuss why others may have been discussing the discussion that we couldn't discuss.

    . . . and so forth.

I think I might have jsut heard a report on NFL radio saying that the woman was an aide to Barrack Obama or something...didn't catch it all, but Obama's name was mentioned.

If they say it again I will def clarify.

Yep, that's how I see it also. He's still young but he's not growing in any measurable way to fill the role that being an NFL player and a privileged member of society requires.

People can be born with a lot of money and be total f*cktards. That happens all the time. But when you're born with not much and then have handed to you what Miller has had handed to him, e.g. the ability to make millions for playing a game, you damn well better handle it. There are a lot of ex-NFL paupers walking around to show Miller what's next if he screws up. And it probably will only take one more screwup.
