he will get suspended...he hit a woman in the face, she has cuts on her face and her knee...he got up and ran from the police and it was at 4:20 in the morning and he was most likely wasted.....he will have a meeting wiht commisioner and suspended for 2-4 games...trust me
yeah cause if i'm in a bar and a professional football player takes a swing at me, i;m definitely gonna take the punch..... I'm waiting for a plqyerto get kiled in one of these things, it's going to happen eventually, ken Hamlin came awful close
That was absolutely stupid. The chase may actually be the worse part of it, in that he is trying to flee from the police. That will be an aggravating factor the commissioner will look at when suspending Miller. Well I hope Revis can play...
It isn't even on nfl.com as far as I can see - unless they just reused the 'Players like the added punch' story :shit:
Notice in his canned apology he left out the women he hit. Even his public relations people are stupid.
Terribly weak argument. These guys are pseudo-public figures and alot of folks, especially kids, look up to them. Couple that with the fact that the guy is 23 years old, not 13. I don't know where you grew up but around here, if you screw up and you're 23, you alone are completely accountable for your actions. You say "cut the kid a break"- he's not a kid, he's as dumb as a stump- his actions proved that BEFORE we drafted him, and his CB play to date has also driven home that point.

What should we bet? He's not going to suspend Miller for 2-4 games for a 3rd degree misdameanor. If he does, it won't stick. I'm not saying Miller isn't WORTHY of a suspension... I'm just saying precedent doesn't show he can suspend for the crime. Chris Henry got 8 games, and what did he get arrested, 15 times?
My gut tells me that he didn't "run" from police exactly, he probably hit the girl, then decided it might be best if he left. The police were probably told where he and his crew were headed and had to pursue them, because of course, everyone knew it was Justin Miller that threw the punch.
Am I the only one dubious about the "missed a guy; hit a woman" part of the story. My first thought was - what the hell was she doing standing within swinging distance? That seemed implausible to me. Then I read Cimini's article this morning:LINK So, what happened to the part about how this was an accidental swing at the woman? Gone, suddenly? Now HIS LAWYER tells us that he hit the woman in self-defense. She attacked him. Nothing at all about him swinging at another guy and hitting a woman?!! This story stinks just a little. And, what's more, Justin stinks just a little, also. I'm willing to wait a short period of time to see what the true story may be (a Duke lacrosse lesson for the ages), but I'm leaning toward the Buh-bye Justin camp.
