I had a dream that we not only won this game but that we dominated it!!! lol One can dream right... It was a great dream. Thomas Jones hit paydirt twice and Pennington had two touches. One was to Brad Smith of all people! lol I woke up amped like a motha'effer!!!
Yea I think the gameplan should be a whole lot of thomas, run the ball down there throat. And play solid D.
This assumes our offensive line can move the Pat's D off the line of scrimmage and our defensive line can hold the line. The first proposition is laughable and the second is questionable in the extreme. My guess is the Jets do what they did against big teams last year and use a lot of misdirection to try to equalize the size and talent deficits on the offensive line.
I don't expect much difference in the gameplan from hat we did last year against them to what we do this year. The difference is: -Alittle more success running the ball w/ Jones and slightly better run blocking due to cohesion and Brick/Mangold's development - Alittle more man coverage w/ the acquisition of Revis, as opposed to the zone coverage from last year - Some better success stopping the run w. some better 3-4 personell.
