I think this is what it comes down to. The managers only real job is to make sure his players are playing hard. Obviously you can't control slumps and people playing poorly but when you have a guy like Cano giving absolutely no effort in the field and you leave him out there to make 4 or 5 errors that's when fans are pretty justified in calling for a mangers head.
yeah, for a group of guys who have been around the block a few times to all be slumping together, something is wrong internally. Some of these "slumps" have lasted far too long for such veteran players. Cano has talent,he has been one of my favorite players as of late. But this season? How do you lose it all over the winter?
Funny, I pointed out a few weeks ago how Cano's unwillingness to argue the blatant blown call at 2nd base against the Mariners was clear signs that nobody on the Yankees cared anymore. The team collectively shrugged their shoulders at getting jobbed by the ump and went on to blow a 1 run game in the ninth. Everybody told me I didn't know what I was talking about.
And i'll tell you the same thing now,you don't know what you're talking about. I come to that by your opinion on the blown call and by the retarded jeuvenile jealousy shit you spew daily.
he is not bad, how can you say a manager who won 4 championships bad? then what do you say about the manager of the braves bobby cox? he only won 1 championship.... is he bad to? you guys are ridiculous... torre just needs to wake his ass up, and start managing like he is hungry again, and put away that he won 4 titles.
