Nothing interesting. Learning the play book, etc. They didn't even talk for 5 minutes. It's almost like Eisen is punished for being a Jets fan.
I saw it this morning. Over all he didn?t say much. He did a good job of putting a positive spin on his answers. The best part was when Eisen asked him if he thought about how in Week 1 he would be lining up across from Randy Moss or Dante Stallworth. He handled it well by stating that he hadn?t thought about it and he was focusing on learning the defensive schemes and plays.
Too soon to tell. We have Atlanta, Minnesota, Giants and Philly in the pre season. I think Mangini will test him in the to see how he measures up against real #1 Recievers. We know what Dyson is capable of but if Revis shuts down Burress, Horn, Brown and whatever scub that Minnesota plays then he needs to be seriously considered for the #1 CB spot.
I like how Eisen laughed at how Revis referred to him as "sir". Revis is such a great player I will certainly buy his jersey. When he was younger living in his house in Pitt he gave all of his siblings a bed to sleep in while he took the family room sofa every night. He was the oldest in his family as well. Stories like that really make you feel happy for some players that find success. You have to want to see Revis do well.
Yeah, it's why we were all shocked when he was hand picked to represent the NFL network. Him and Greeny were the only out in the open Jets fans on ESPN.
It's probably because Eisen has that sick dry sort of "british-like" humor. And sounds like he belongs on Office Space. So he's really a perfect host.
Don't want to derail the thread but just have to say that it is totally NFL Network's fault that it isn't on Cablevision because it demands way too much in fees and won't budge on its asking price.
Eisen i originally from Staten Island and hosted the yearly "Jets dinner" acouple years back... He is whole-heartedly a Jets fan, but has to keep it under wraps unlike Greenburg.
