Wang struggling a bit today. Not what I had expected coming off near perfection.

Damn it. I hate ruining innings by trying to steal. We're a power hitting team. Let the Mets worry about stealing bases. Our upper lineup running speed is enough to score from first on a double. Instead, we're out of the inning.

    UGH!

Come on Wang! You're a groundball pitcher!

If anyone is watching, could Abreu have actually caught that?

Come on Alio. That was a low blow.

    HR / Total Bases / Slug. %

    Mets 31 514 441
    Yankees 35 489 435

And almost half of Yankee HRs have been hit by Arod. Delgado and Wright
    are just starting to hit.

What is wrong with Abreu? He is fielding and throwing like he's hitting all of a sudden.

    No no no!

I didn't mean that to sound disparaging. I meant, the Mets are the running team (the base stealers.) As far as I am aware, they lead the majors right now.

I wasn't trying to imply that the Mets are doing anything wrong. Just that they are far more qualified to steal bases and make things happen that way than we are.

Come on man, I don't get into the pot-shots thing. If I did, I'd have no excuse for getting pissed off at the trolling.

    More stranded baserunners.

I think that makes me more pissed off than Torre using 8 pitchers a game.

    *shrug*

He's on the 15-day DL. They originally said he'd be out 4-6 weeks. He's heading down to Tampa to work out today. In his own words, he's ahead of schedule.

Hopefully that means he's back the end of next week.
